I’m commenting on how many people here are frothing at the mouth over anything that may portray their fearless leader in a negative light. I agree that the GOP would be all over this if they thought it was valid (unless of course it’s all a conspiracy that they’re in on, waiting for the other shoe to drop before getting involved…maybe they do support it, but don’t want to play the heavy? )

Hey nice, you nailed that observation pretty tight. I see it more as satirical distraction than anything. Amazing how some people are totally blowing a gasket over it, and a bit concerning as well.

Now I voted for McCain and I do not believe this story about Obama. To answer your question about McCain he was born on a military installation to american parents, which makes him a Natural Born Citizen. If this was such a major issue why is there no tv media covering this?

There are a lot of things happening that are considered or should be considered major issues, yet get little or no coverage.

I don't divide information or events etc. into "major issues" and " minor issues" based on what I see on TV.

I think he has a birth certificate. I don't see how this is the right grasping at straws or anything. A guy filed a law suit and due to Obama's negligence things got ' worse'. Eventually he'll probably produce his birth certificate, problem solved, but we won't know why he didn't nip this in the bud.

And that's a good point to focus on. If he has nothing to hide, why hide? If he has a valid birth certificate from Hawaii, then I have no problem. Issue resolved. But as of now this is a concern for me.

C'mon guys, if McCain had won the election and something like this came up you'd say that McCain sabotaged the election, just how you think Bush did in 2000. That's exactly how I feel about Obama right now. The Constitution is the Constitution, whether you like it or not.

I think you can get a court order to see them, if you have the green, and some sort of evidence to bring forward like a questionable picture or a convincing body double sighting...etc...

I just looked at my daughter's 'birth certificate' that I had mailed to me (we moved to a different state when she was 4 months) and it is a 'certification of vital record' from the state of Colorado. A certification of birth or certification of vital record is the short form. I'm not sure what the problem is here.........Is there something I need to get in order in case my 4 year decides to run for the highest office in the country years from now? I mean, she does have a Hispanic/Spanish last name and all................

Look, I can totally appreciate debating and taking issue with Obama's stances on the issues and how he intends to run the country once he takes office, but this issue? Am I missing something here?
