    good point. The Taliban...NOT IRAQ!

and if you think the biggest terrorist attack was not supported somewhat by the Saudi Gov't or society at large...then you are kidding yourself. that shit didn't happen in a bubble. We ignore that because they produce so much oil...Bush has to walk litterally...hand in hand w/ there leader!

there were no terrorists on 911 of Iraqi...or Afghani decent....

yup. it was until after we went in did al queda in iraq appear. so that could be argued for a reason to stay. but to go in? cuz of WMD bullshit...bad idea.

I completely agree. I am no fan of the saudis.

I also agree. Iraq became al queda fly paper after we went in. at this point, I believe al queda would loose support from extremist if we left Iraq. but I would hate to be wrong.

You might not like Canada, but Canada didn't follow the US into Vietnam. We didn't follow you guys into Iraq either. Both were two huge fuckups and we knew it in advance. There was no justification.

Now the US has some of our politicians bought out with money deals, so now were being coerced into towing some invisible line in Afghanistan.

Everyone likes Canada....we are a peaceful country. No one wants to harm us. It's quite the concept, don't fuck with people and they won't want to do the same. That can be tested and proven anytime, anywhere and by anybody. Go try it with your neighbor...it will become apparent very quickly.

It's pretty much a universal concept, unfortunately for the US it goes far back long before 9/11 as a failure.
I agree. I like that policy. but oil is a commodity that is a necessity in this world. and the extremists middle east has alot of it. hell if I know what to do about that. i'm not happy war and military spending seem to be an option

Do you find it acceptable that (the United States Military and this Administration) have invaded and attacked Iraq, killed hundreds upon thousands of people; as a response to 9/11?

What exactly did Iraq and Saddam have to do with 9/11?

That's the equivelent of me attacking Rhode Island because Montana attacked me.

Actually, historically speaking; that's no where to being true.

It certainly works in practice a good portion of the time.

But history is littered with countries/cities/towns/villages who never fucked with anyone and were minding their own business, yet, were attacked/invaded by their neighbors (and in many cases.......enemies from very far away). Usually by those praising Jesus and Allah.

List a few, so they can be discussed. Right now that statement is only hypothetical rhetoric to me.

How bout before another fucking war, we see some REAL GODDAMN PROOF!

Fuck this "alleged" shit ... prove it, or shut the fuck up.

    Hey, by the way ...
does our country have a domestic policy anymore?

I mean, besides striving for an absolute totalitarian police state, do we have a fucking civic agenda !?!

proof or not. This is no justification for war. Iran doesn't like us occupying their neighbor. Neither do I. The solution to this problem is not to attack Iran.. the solution is to leave Iraq.

Besides who do we invade in response to all the weapons supplied by the United States that are killing Americans?

i'm a very logical thinker, and this is a very logical response. I like it. that said, Iran is no saint and may have to be dealt with regarding nuclear bombs. not because they dislike us being in Iraq

It wasn't a statement. It is a historical fact.

I'm just asking for a few examples. If you seem to know it so well then you should be able to list off a few in a couple secs. Seems logical.

And all I ask is that you actually familiarize yourself with the subject matter, before claiming you know something about it. Go to the library.....do a search on google...whatever. The truth is out there.....go read:D

You have the right to remain ignorant of the subject matter.

Hell, you can always tell people it's NMyTree's fault I'm ignorant of this subject. "He wouldn't comply and be my information lackey".

P.S. It's hardly a bold sweeping statement. If you knew anything of history, you wouldn't think it was a "bold sweeping statement". You'd know it was a historical truth.

    Excellent!

    Okay, let's be logical.

You and I both know......you are waiting for me to provide you examples, so you can work your little fingers (to the bone), furiously googling for anything that will help you in your attempts to discredit my historically accurate comment.

So, if you're going to google for discrediting me, why not just go ahead and google without me providing examples? I mean, I can't imagine you need me to provide you with "keywords" for your search.

So go ahead.......take the inititive .....you go girl!

Seriously... what did we THINK was going to happen? Consider these factors in 2003:
    Iraq was 60% Shi'ite, 20% Sunni and 20% kurdish
Iran was run by fundamentalists Shi'ite Clerics.
Saddam Hussein and his Sunni minority held power in Iraq and restricted the flow of Shi'ite populations and influence into Iraq.
Saddam Hussein and his Sunni minority oppresed the Shi'ite majority.
Other Sunni nations, such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt leaned more towards Hussein... because they do not want Iran's influence to spread.
    ...
Take out Hussein and let the 60% majority elect who they want to lead and you have what we have today. A Shi'ite majority in power, the restrictions on Shi'ia immigration from Iran relaxed... removed. The guns are in the hands of the Shi'ites looking to get some payback. And that little handholding lovefest between al Maliki and Ahmedinejadabbadaddyo yesterday... not really what we wanted, right?

Bush said it himself...he's a war president.

I mean fuck... stop whacking people as casual policy. I almost give up...effing clowns the lot of them.

What of the US/Iran "talks" that were supposed to happen?...notice how that came and went like a fast handjob in the media?

Shouldn't this be the ongoing focus towards Iran?

    Answer: of course it should!

Homey don't play that game eh?

Yeah and separate washrooms for Iraqi troops in the military...oh great. Can't use the American toilets.

That's the problem with Iran... we DON'T know what they're up to because we haven't talked to them since 1978. We can only guess what they are up to. I mean, during the Cold War... we were talking to the Soviet Union.
Maybe with Iraq and Iran becoming good buddies... maybe we can ask Iraq what Iran id doing.
