yes, the complete lawlessness is 100% our responsibility

and 99% is obscene...

many deaths are from crime due to the complete failure of our occupation...

but the numbers killed directly by "coalition" hands is more than half.. Hell we killed 100,000 in the military alone.

but we still like to pretend .. in spite of the horrific consequences.

I thought about this last night after posting my 15% - 20%, and yeah, I think you're right. I'd say the U.S military is more than likely responsible for at least 40% - 50% of the deaths.

Do the Iraqis who are engaged in civil war have some responsibility for the civil war? Err..yeah. Did those Africans and Indians have any responsibility for the civil wars that ripped their nations apart at the end of British, French and Belgian colonialism? Yep, I'd say so.

It's not o.k that he killed anyone who opposed him, no. But there was order in the country and not genocide. Saddam could have been overthrown by other means than by a foreign army invading and starting a civil war.
