The one's who should step down are the ignorant morons calling for his death and the death of anyone who insults Islam. They should be forced out of whatever position they fill, by the intelligent and peaceful Muslims of the world.
What a bunch of vile pieces of shit these people are. These fuckers insult anyone, everyone and everything, on a daily basis. But their ridiculous Islam religion is off limits? Fuck them!
Fuck Islam!

Mohammed was a pig fucker!
Oh my, look what I said. Goodness gracious.......I should be careful, they'll be blowing up my car:rolleyes:
If I were a muslim, and many people are. I would be extremely offended by absolutely everything you said in that message. A lot of people would utilize that report button on the forum to notify the moderators of what's been said. I however, feel the need to persuade you in your thinking. To assist you in forming a new perspective that is respectfull to billions of people and only disrespectful to the individuals responsible for those statements. A common error is to make blind sweeping conclusions about specific groups that you know nothing about. Your current statement serves only to cause hatred and invoke war. What you are referring to started in the late 40's I believe, with a guy named Kattup (sp?). He said that western liberalism teaches selfishness and is infecting the world. He also taught that anyone who denies Islam should be put to death. Al-Zawahiri and Osama Bin Laden worked with his group in Afghanistan to push the soviet union out. They were supported by the United States at this time. Afterwards they went back to Egypt if I recall correctly. You will notice during certain periods a bunch of these groups will converge. Like in Lebanon, students from turkey were going to fight Israel, probably groups from all around. This isn't an organized network, they heard about it and went to help out. There is no structure to them. Additionally I think it's important to know the culture and the history of the people. It's not the same for us, or me anyway. I didn't growing up with any threat of invasion or air raid.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire
mate what is wrong with you because a hand full of musliims it still pales to what we have and still do to them i am an aussie and i just happen to have a couple of freands that are muslim thats that mean i should watch my back ? i dont think so they are just they same as us and just as upset about the current state of the world. dont deamonize them all because of the actions of a few!!!! who nows mate if you where bourn in there shoes you might have taken the same road!!!! the problem is we all think we are better then them but we are not!!!! yes thats right we are no better then enyone else!!!!!!!!! now it is one thing to say that but we have to learn how to act that way and maby there might be more understanding in the world.
Yeah no kidding, not every muslim is crazy and theres a big difference between your friends who live in a developed country and the ones living in the Middle East. Wait til they come knocking on your door blowing up buildings and have the "Kill an American day" like a cleric wanted last week.
Born is their shoes? They are bred to hate all things Western. The irony behind this is that as the leaders/people denounce the west, it was us who invented half the technology and science they use on a daily basis.
As an Aussie it is easy to have the hands clean/my shit does not stink attitude when in fact your government relies on ours to take care of the dirty work.
Firstly successful is a loaded term. If you think success is condemning billions to dealth and a life of poverty both in your country and in third world countries which, while previously poor, actually could feed themselves before your company set up shop there then so be it. I'd rather kill them and their greed machines and actually have a free society.
You would rather listen to news sources which are owned and operated by the very rich, for the benefit for the very rich, watch television shows owned by the very rich for the benefit of the very rich, involve yourself in an education system that is run, benefits, and is increasingly owned by the very rich, then claim that I am ignorant. hmm...
and yet you said all of this by using a Microsoft or Apple product... and you know of all these great crimes perpetuated by these companies how? you watch TV.. big companies make TV's... big comanies who own oil, which is used to make plastic, which is used to make the parts on your computers, TV's, the water bottles you suck on, the phone you pick up... phone companies are big companies... you dont use a phone? but you must if you've typed online... did you use Google... google is a big company? next time you have an illness requiring penicillin... penicillin manufactured by a big company... or will you go the alternate route of growing your own penicillin or go to an organic penicillin small business to get yourself well... etc etc etc
kill those 500 people and 500 more will just step into their place... find a better way to solve this problem rather than killing them...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
As an Aussie it is easy to have the hands clean/my shit does not stink attitude when in fact your government relies on ours to take care of the dirty work.
You can go and fuck yourself with that statement. Perhaps it's through the support from nations like australia that the war in iraq and afghanistan could happen, as well as significant troop contributions from our already overstretched defence force.
We are already heavily involved in East Timor and the Solomons, and have lagre numbers of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Whose government imprisoned David Hicks [an australian citizen] for five years AND COUNTING without charge, over something he may or may not have done, when that government holds no jurisdiction for the crime?
Have you ever read anything about the Kokoda Trail in WWII. Macarthur was in charge... he had no clue over what was happening. He was hopelessly incompetent, ordering attacks by under equipped and undertrained australian militia, and berating them when they retreated. He was comfortable thousands of kilometers away in Melbourne, with no clue what was happening, and taking all the glory when things started to go right, which was only by the bravery of the australians. Hows that for dirty work?
Perhaps our involvement in Vietnam and Korea isn't good enough?
You make it sound like we fucking owe you for something?
For what?
Sending oil prices sky high so I can afford to fill up my car, but only if I catch the bus for a week?
For a 'fair' free trade agreement where our tarrifs are abolished almost immeadiately, but we face tarrifs on our exports for almost twenty years?
Yeha, mate your governmant has done a lot of dirty work, but nor for us.
go fuck yourself you arrogant twerp
waiting for the great leap forward
12 people may make the one decision but that doesn't make it right.
Muslim extremist leader Anjem Choudary said during a protest outside Westminster Cathedral that those who insulted Islam would be "subject to capital punishment". The other day a nun was shot dead in Somalia by Islamic gunmen and churches came under attack in Palestine.
As well as signs attacking the Pope such as "Pope go to Hell", his followers outside the country's principal Roman Catholic church also waved slogans such as "Jesus is the slave of Allah".
What do you guys think? Should the Pope be killed for quoting a medieval emperor who said Mohammed was "evil and inhuman"? These Muslim extremist are in the same boat as KKK members and the "God hates Fags" group in my mind.
No, I dont think the pope should be killed. I think popes in general are over-conservative pompous twits, but that's not punishable by death in my opinion.
As for those select extremists, yes they are no better than other religiously excused extremists in the past and present. Fuck em.

Certainly you apologists for radical Islam can spin, twist and dance for me, in the same manner you dance for Islam, can't you? Certainly you can extend that sympathy and understanding......that bleeding-heart to me, as you always do for radical Islam, correct?
Afterall, is what I said worse than what the radical Muslims are saying about killing the Pope and killing anyone who dares insult Islam?
But yet, you dance for them. Dance for me.
I mean, all I did was type of few words. No physical attacks......no protests....no burnings.....no physical destruction.
The question of this thread starter is as absurd as gets.
When you consider the thread topic, the question and the content of this.
Then you should realize why I said, what I said. And you guys have proven my point.
P.S. That radical Islamic mentality and way of thinking, that dictates that anyone who insults Islam or the Prophet should be killed by the nearest Muslim; is thousands of years old. The variation and approach has been around for a very long time. It's laughable to suggest it only began in the 1940s. Ask any honest, objective, knowledgeble Muslim how long it has been around; and the honest ones will tell you the truth.
P.S. Ahnimus, you don't even know what my perspective is. If you took the time to read what I say, rather than judge and attack what I say based on your biased and unobjective approach to this whole subject matter; you would realize that you're not teaching me anything and that we in fact, agree on 98% of the subject matter. Difference is, I'm willing to hold radical Islam/Muslims responsible and accountable for their dispicable behavior.
You on the other hand, are only willing to hold America and Isreal responsible for their respective parts in this whole thing. For Islam, you make excuses, justifications and you do the dance. Islam/Muslim's responsibility for their own actions, is nothing more than a small sidenote or brief disclaimer, on your way to your standard blame-game of America and Israel.
This quote: " ........those who insulted Islam would be "subject to capital punishment". is by far the most barbaric, mindless and hateful comment I have ever seen. That quote says it all about the mentality of these freaks.
That is by far the most barbaric, mindless and hateful comment you have ever seen????
The pope shouldn't be killed. Like the Bush administration, and Tony Blair, he should be tarred and feathered and paraded through the streets in a stock, so we can all throw rotten fruit at him and laugh.
I have been following it on the internet. I have not seen it on the TV yet. As far as I know he not retracted his comments, though he has said he regrets the reaction. I think it was a strong thing to say. And, although the potential for a holy war is not what anybody wants, I think the leader of the Catholic church should, let it be known that anybody "spreading the faith by the sword" is not in correlation with Catholic beliefs. And i dont think anyone forgets the Crusades, but he is saying that that was wrong, and it will not happen again with Catholocism, and shouldn't happen with Muslims. The pope during the Holocast receives criticism about not standing up against Hitler, even to this day, and now that a Pope is standing up for what the Catholics believe he is still "doing wrong." Catholocism is a powerful machine in this world and if it can be used against something that many regardless of religious following believe to be wrong, than I think that is good. I just hope he stays strong, and that is in many ways dependant on the Catholic Faith staying strong and supporting him. And probably more important than that, the need for other religions to stand in support.
I dont mean to offend anyone, but I do not feel that Holy wars are the answer. In many ways I feel that Holy Wars are a major problem in this World. And for the Pope to say that he is against them, which is basically all he said, then good for him. I was raised Catholic and am living in a Budhist nation, with a Budhist wife but currently am spiritual and not really religious.
I watched many people died, and saw my life in jepardy because of a religious based terrorist group. Do I like the way Pope Benedict went about saying wha the said, it probably could have been better, but do I like the message he sent, I think I do.
Regardless of your religion, or non religion, the Pope is a real person with real powers in that a lot of people listen to what he says. And just because he stepped on a couple toes, and said what millions have said in their own homes, doesnt make him wrong. I thikn he gets a lot of bad wrap because he is the leader of a religious party. I do not follow any religion, but understand the fact that most of this world does. Somebody has to lead them. "The Pope" can not die as long as their are Millions of catholics out there. And Muslim will never die as long as there are Millions (or however many) Muslims out there. And maybe the answer isnt about having them ignore each other even when they strongly disagree about something. I dont know, is Benedict bringing the Catholics into a Holy War ?? Can this war only be faught through words. Are the allies spreading faith through the sword with the war in Iraq ?? Faith is really a way life, right ? Whether it is to follow yourself or follow someone else, you are always moving with belief in someone or something...otherwise you would move in a differant direction...

People need to stop taking figuritive comments literally. Just because the Pope thinks or says something, does not necessarily mean every Catholic agrees with him. Take President Bush for example. He was voted into office but thankfully not every American thinks the same way he does. The world has become filled with people who are just looking for another reason to be angry. There are better things in life that should be looked at rather than the next argument.
If I used the same rationale as the people who shot the nun, I would attempt to kill off every Middle Eastern because they feel and think the same way Osama does. Doesn't make any sense does it??? Didn't think so.
I'll scream my lungs out...'til I fill this thread!

Surely you're not a Christian.
If the pope cared about Catholicism, he'd step down for fueling the hatred between Christians and Muslims...but he was born into hate, so you can't expect much out of him.
I'm not a supporter of the Pope or anything but it almost seems that this violent reaction to his words are cementing the point he was making.

heh...are u a Christian by any chance? cant quite remember cos ive been away for some time
if u are, did Jesus teach u to say these things? Doubt it..
And btw, no the pope should not be killed. Rushdie should not be killed. Those who do call for his death are taking an extreme interpretation of the Quran; taken from a verse that was meant to be read within context. Do some research and maybe u guys would undstand.
I always maintain that Islam has nothing to answer to. The prophet himself said "There are 77 groups of people who claim to be Muslim. Only one is truly Muslim, those who follow my example"
And no it doesnt mean u have to marry a 9 year old.
I think if everyone here takes an objective, non-cynical look on Islam and the Quran lots of misconceptions can be cleared up.
Terrorists, extremists=unIslamic. I may share their grievances but thats abt it.

Nope.
Not Christian. Not Catholic. Not Hindu
I'm a human being. Not a religion.
Maybe one day you can learn to be happy and content as a human being, as opposed to a religion.
NMyTree please explain yourself, because it sounds like you consider religious people as non-human beings, my mistake if that is not what you mean.
Incorrect. It's the language barrier, Collin.
It is my opinion that religious people are not happy simply being human beings. They seem to have a need to be part of some sort of mystic, supernatural phenomena or somekind of cosmic magic entity.
I also think it's a sad testament to our species that so many of us require imaginary, supernatural, after-life threats and consequences to behave well and be kind to other human beings and other living creatures, in general.
Ironically, it's their so-called loyalty and "faith" to this imaginary, supernatural magic that leads to human beings acting out in the most violent manner.

how do u get around the argument (fact, imho) that the majority of people with religion are peace loving?

Are you kidding me? Peace-loving?
A majority of wars and violence through the history of human beings, have been a result of religious differences, religious discrimination or religious inititives.
And don't give me that nonsense that they were not or are not truely religious representitives of their religion. Religion, through it's own very essence and context dictates that religion, is in fact, always politically, socially and financially entertwined, focused and motivated.
You can not seperate religion from it's infleunce on society, politics and financial interests; because religions always direct their context towards all of them.

if u are, did Jesus teach u to say these things?

Thank you.....finally someone sees that through all the PC bullshit that has cluttered our minds.
Nope.
Not Christian. Not Catholic. Not Hindu
I'm a human being. Not a religion.
Maybe one day you can learn to be happy and content as a human being, as opposed to a religion.

It's a paradox of absurdity.
Yeah I thought I got it wrong:D
I don't entirely agree but I can definitely see your point.

how do u get around the argument (fact, imho) that the majority of people with religion are peace loving?

Are you kidding me? Peace-loving?
A majority of wars and violence through the history of human beings, have been a result of religious differences, religious discrimination or religious inititives.
And don't give me that nonsense that they were not or are not truely religious representitives of their religion. Religion, through it's own very essence and context dictates that religion, is in fact, always politically, socially and financially entertwined, focused and motivated.
You can not seperate religion from it's infleunce on society, politics and financial interests; because religions always direct their context towards all of them.
Damn! Ozzy was on to something back in the day. Maybe he was a Muslim?
