Mall Security Beating Shoplifter (video)

Damn, these mall security guards went well beyond what they are allowed. No security officer is ever allowed in any state to punch a shoplifter in the face while hes being restrained. Those guys are going to get sued and charged with assault and battery.

    The problem here is not just the asshole cop wannabe but the people around doing nothing but talking to the asshole. Somebody should have pulled the jackass off of the guy.

    What behavior? The guy shoplifted, and they caught him. The guy was ready to fight and get away, so, they had to get "rough." I doubt the guy has anything worse than a small bruise.

    This guy might of had a lapse in judgement and did something stupid but you have a huge lapse in judgement when it comes to treating people humanely. A criminal, no matter how small or big, is still a human being. But of course, more people are worried about the theft of a tiny bottle of liquor over the abuse inflicted on another person. When we put higher value on our 'things' and the protection of them over living, breathing, feeling people then it's no wonder the world is in the shape it is in. But that's what the Jesus says, right know1, to beat a person down the moment he steps out of line and does something idiotic??? Somehow he must have morphed into a monster at that moment. Or maybe the monster's in the mirror...

    maybe if the fucker didn't try to get away and accept the fact that he was caught breaking the law, they wouldn't have "punched" him twice.

    Or maybe he wouldn't have been struggling so hard if he wasn't being assaulted. That can go both ways. And he could have been terriblely frightened causing him to act in this manner, as well. I don't think stealing a bottle of liquor automatically makes the guy a 'fucker'.

    or think of it this way: he absolutely wouldn't have been struggling at all if he didn't break the law.

    no, that alone doesn't make him a fucker, but trying to get away after getting caught breaking the law does. something tells me this isn't the first time he's stolen something, too.

    This was not "beating someone down." They were just trying to subdue the guy. How many times did they call out for the police? Their main goal was to have the guy arrested. There were two very, very weak punches thrown, and the rest of it was just trying to get the guy to stop moving. A real cop would have done the same thing as the Rent-a-Cop. If the guy was in such pain, he would have stopped fighting and pushing back, BUT, he didn't want to face the consequences of his actions, so he must not have been in too much pain. To say the guy apprehending him was a monster is just ludicrous. He was doing his job and should be proud.

    There are high school wrestling matches that get more rough than this.

    you honestly think that was a beating??? he was hit 2 or 3 times and they weren't even full swings. the rest of that video was them trying to get cuffs on him while he resisted.

    someone enlighten me, if someone is resisting what the fuck are you supposed to do?

    The west isn't is civilized as we think and not because of this but everyday you'll hear about all kinds of fucked up things happening in the west but people don't seem to recognise it because things far worse are happening in other countries and regions like the Middle East and compared to those things "it's not so bad." Just my opinion.

    Why do you stand up for the criminal, and against the guy doing his job? Everytime. Anybody stealing anything is a "fucker."

    And anyone assaulting someone unnecessarily is also a criminal. The theft of the liquor doesn't not justify inhumane treatment.
