    No, perspective still exists along side free will.

    America isn't a ruthless fuck. I don't like putting down this country any more than any old redneck does: we (americans) seem to have schemed ourselves and our democracy into a sort of mockery of itself, a different form of government than was the intention.

    Are you talking to Abook?

    It's not really that difficult to understand. It's quite easy really. And it's so blatantly obvious. I don't know why you can't understand it.

    "Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not so sure about the universe." -- Albert Einstein

    But, I don't need you to understand it for it to be truth.

    "The truth is incontrovertable, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -- Winston Churchill

    I don't need you to accept it for me to believe it and talk about it.

    "In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, feared, hated and scorned, but in time when his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." -- Mark Twain

    I am not "the patriot" I am but one of the timid joining the cause.

    ahh i was quoting abook...but i was thinking of you. besides i was referring back to all your misc random ramblings where you post links to all this crap that is pure incoherant theory (about our existence or some shit). and no i dont have to accept what you think...just like you dont have to accept what i think in order for it to be true.

    A PhD? You don't have to conceptualize complex thought/ideas. Try computer programming. Or philosophy.

    Since these particular Iraqis are living in Michigan there behavior is quite predictable. However, there are still plenty living in Iraq to whom it matters most.

    Ahhh, more of the same sick shit I've come to expect from some people here...eagerly awaiting the death of another human being with giddy anticipation! I've lost my appetite.

    This is at least one thing we can agree on. Being happy about the death of another human being is extremely pathetic.
    The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

    Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

    LOL ROTFLMAO!!!!

    you really dont have a clue what i do...so you cant even imagine it. my thesis involved conceptualizing complex thoughts and ideas as does my daily thoughts on my field. its what i do as a scientist. put the pieces together...and thats what im good at. its an innate quality i have...but i dont have to convince you to know its true ;)

    Why do some people like to give examples of people from the middle east dancing when talking about some political things and trying to prove a point?

    "The arabs were dancing when the WTC was hit!" "dancing arabs!"

    then when saddam was caught "look they are dancing on the streets!"

    now he's about to die "the iraqis are dancing!"

    It's not an innate quality.

    Why don't you go ahead and give me one of these complex thoughts then?

    Apparently dancing people represent an entire race/religion/nation.

    Conceptualize this
    void fxHealth( void ) {
    UTIL_ChatMsgAll( "[HLFX] Admin used command unHealth\n" );
    if( CMD_ARGC() != 3 )
    {
    LOG_MESSAGE( PLID, "Cannot add health, incorrect number of arguments (UID) (Health)" );
    }
    else
    {
    int addHealth = atoi( CMD_ARGV(2) );

    int PlayerIndex = GetPlayerIndex( CMD_ARGV(1) );
    if(PlayerIndex==0)
    return;
    CBaseEntity *pPlayer = UTIL_PlayerByIndex(PlayerIndex);
    if( !IsPlayerValid(pPlayer) )
    {
    LOG_MESSAGE( PLID, "ERROR<un_hologram>: Invalid Player with UID \"%s\"", CMD_ARGV(1) );
    return;
    }

    pPlayer->edict()->v.health += addHealth;

    }
    return;
    }

    This is a class from my first experience with programmingin C++. I wrote a complete mod for Half-Life called HLFX. It provided several classes for developers of AdminMod to use transparency on character models (Wraith) radius damage and screenshaking amongst other things. Luke Sankey made best use of the mod in his TimeBomb plugin which I included with the release of HLFX.

    I abandoned HLFX about 5 years ago, but you can still download the code here http://deadone.no-ip.org/dead_one/HLFX/

    If I sell you chemical weapons for the express purpose of killing people, and you use them to kill people, does that make you guilty?

    Or, are you only guilty if you kill people that I don't tell you to kill?

    true its not innate for 99% of people...its a quality or trait if you will. but its quite easy for me to conceptualize...where others (scientists) look at me and say "how did you just come up with that off the top of your head"...thus its an innate quality for me. once again you dont have to believe me....cos im sure you dont. but i dont care...i was just making a point.

    and you wouldnt be able to follow the pathways i worked on...in the very least not without sufficient background info on the players of the pathways. besides its not yet published and so im not about to explain my 5 years of thesis research to you and give out my discoveries to make a point to you which you wouldnt believe or understand anyways.

    and by the way...computer programming is a language. it doesnt take conceptual thought to decipher it...only time studying the "words" of the language.

    Are you a programmer? Nope, I didn't think so. You wouldn't say that if you were. By language you refer simply to syntax. Syntax is easy, but you have to conceptualize the project as a whole. Object-oriented programming means that within each project you have several objects, classes, nested classes, methods, constructors, packages, etc... It's not enough just to know the language, you have to figure out the structure and the APIs to use.

    Just as an example, I am working on a project that uses Jakarta Struts, MySQL, J2EE, HSSF and Eclipse. I know the language and I know what I want as the final product, but I'm still figuring out how I'm going to put it together. It's not that easy dude.

    Saddem to be killed in next several hours. It's about time.

    http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/12/29/D8MAP5700.html
    I think its silly that he's being put to death. I know he is responsible for the killing of thousands of lives, but so are most leaders. Killing Saddem is like killing Captain Hook or Lex Luther. What would the world be like without them?.. the guy used to go fishing with hand grenades. I hate to make light of it, but its kind of funny. Can't we just let him live in jail?
