Why? are they really any worse than the rest of the dictators and killers around the world?

Yes I'm sure you could add a few more to the list, but these are the two that come right to mind.

Hmm, so if a person has a system their opinions are hollow?

What if, I said anyone who kills should be killed, wouldn't that be the same kind of thing?

It depends upon the person, I suppose. You are so rigid in your beliefs about the well defined and determined structure in which we operate, that we know you will always come to the support of the criminal. So yes, when you proclaim a criminal to be innocent it has no meaning.

I didn't mean he was innocent in the deterministic sense, but that is true too.

Are some of you actually serious? You think Saddam is innocent and he is being killed to be kept quiet??? You have got to be kidding! Maybe you don't agree with the death penalty, but give me a fucking break. Some of you make it sound like you would be happy if Bush was killed but are sad by Saddam being killed. This guy was a ruthless dictator and killed thousands upon thousands of people. Whether you agree with the death penalty or not, this is a fact
The thing that keeps coming to mind while reading these posts is the South Park episode that mocks the notion that 25% of the country believes there was a 9/11 conspiracy. The explanation given is simply that 25% of the people in this country are dumb asses.

I don't want Saddam or Bush to be killed and I'm not an American.

thank you. i would carry that explanation and say that at LEAST 50% of the people on this board are dumb asses (but im being rather conservative with my estimation there). they seem to congragate here for some reason.

You don't have to congregate here. Take your 50% somewhere else :p

That's your perspective. From my perspective things appear much differently.

Well you are entitled to your opinion but I just don't see how America can be viewed as the most evil country in the world. Sure our leaders do some stupid things and become involved in areas they shouldn't, but there are many more ruthless fucks out there that are worse then America.

No, perspective still exists along side free will.

America isn't a ruthless fuck. I don't like putting down this country any more than any old redneck does: we (americans) seem to have schemed ourselves and our democracy into a sort of mockery of itself, a different form of government than was the intention.

I don't think America is Evil.

Did you ever stop to think that you are only getting one side of the story?

Don't hurt yourself trying to understand it. I know it can be a difficulty to the immature brain.

    Are you talking to Abook?

It's not really that difficult to understand. It's quite easy really. And it's so blatantly obvious. I don't know why you can't understand it.

"Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not so sure about the universe." -- Albert Einstein

But, I don't need you to understand it for it to be truth.

"The truth is incontrovertable, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is." -- Winston Churchill

I don't need you to accept it for me to believe it and talk about it.

"In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, feared, hated and scorned, but in time when his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot." -- Mark Twain

I am not "the patriot" I am but one of the timid joining the cause.

ahh i was quoting abook...but i was thinking of you. besides i was referring back to all your misc random ramblings where you post links to all this crap that is pure incoherant theory (about our existence or some shit). and no i dont have to accept what you think...just like you dont have to accept what i think in order for it to be true.
