    Saddam is innocent.

    :(

    Killing is bad.

But if they are going to kill Saddam, fuck, kill the whole Bush Administration and bomb the CIA.

you're right. i'd prefer we all just lived our lives. BUT, if saddam is guilty, then a lot of other people are as well.

my gut tells me they're killing him to keep him quiet.

I don't think it would matter. No country is going to stand up to the U.S. and the American citizens won't do shit about it.

  • Ahhh, more of the same sick shit I've come to expect from some people here...eagerly awaiting the death of another human being with giddy anticipation! I've lost my appetite.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

  • Maybe Osama Bin Laden will pull off a daring last second rescue attempt, just like the Luke rescue in Return of the Jedi. He'll drop in from a chopper, guns blazing, calling for the death of the infidel. Sadaam will be freed from his noose by an expertly-thrown dagger. Osama will grab up Sadaam, and they'll escape on a waiting horse, racing into the sunset.

I'd buy that on pay per view.

Funny beacuse if it was Bush or anyone in his admin on the chopping block, the drool that would be flowing from many around here, would be enough to fill an ocean.

I'm not even really big on the death penalty, but for Saddem I'll make an exception. Same for Osama.

I wont be drinking champagne until all U.S. soldiers are back home. His death is justified and deserved but not celebrated.

In your eyes nobody is guilty of anything they do, though. So coming from you, that is a hollow endorsement.

Hmm, so if a person has a system their opinions are hollow?

What if, I said anyone who kills should be killed, wouldn't that be the same kind of thing?

Why? are they really any worse than the rest of the dictators and killers around the world?

Yes I'm sure you could add a few more to the list, but these are the two that come right to mind.

It depends upon the person, I suppose. You are so rigid in your beliefs about the well defined and determined structure in which we operate, that we know you will always come to the support of the criminal. So yes, when you proclaim a criminal to be innocent it has no meaning.

I didn't mean he was innocent in the deterministic sense, but that is true too.

Are some of you actually serious? You think Saddam is innocent and he is being killed to be kept quiet??? You have got to be kidding! Maybe you don't agree with the death penalty, but give me a fucking break. Some of you make it sound like you would be happy if Bush was killed but are sad by Saddam being killed. This guy was a ruthless dictator and killed thousands upon thousands of people. Whether you agree with the death penalty or not, this is a fact
The thing that keeps coming to mind while reading these posts is the South Park episode that mocks the notion that 25% of the country believes there was a 9/11 conspiracy. The explanation given is simply that 25% of the people in this country are dumb asses.

thank you. i would carry that explanation and say that at LEAST 50% of the people on this board are dumb asses (but im being rather conservative with my estimation there). they seem to congragate here for some reason.

You don't have to congregate here. Take your 50% somewhere else :p
