Reading other people's opinions before forming one of your own!!! Yay!!! Reading!!! Yay!!! Learning about an issue by devoting more than 5 minutes with flashy graphics and a scroll across the bottom of the screen to it. Yay!!! Maybe even picking up a book about the topic!!! Getting evidence!! Yay!!!

That's it... politics are boring. Really. Watch C-Span and see our governemnt and the hearings and briefings in their entirety... boring... BUT... you get the FULL story. Not the writer's whittled down, out of context, nice sound bite, slanted version of what really happened... that happend to fit in 2 minute segments.
You want to see Cable News' true colors? They are filled with Natalie Holloway or the cute missing/dead white girl du jour with a splash of that high waisted dickhead who got a first class ticket out of a Bangkok prison on the taxpayer's dime and covered with other over-sensationalized, National Enquirer-esque 'political' bullshit so the NASCAR crowd can pretend they are up on their current events and fill in the gaps between their stories of doing stupid stunts that involve gunfire and/or result in third degree burns.
Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!
Hail, Hail!!!
there are few people i can say that i hate, as i feel it is a very strong word...but o'reilly is definitely one of them.
he's is a hypocrite, a liar, and incredibly obnoxious. it's sickening to know that people like him actually exist.
here is a guy who sexually harassed female employees, then paid them off to avoid court and scandal. a guy who also has guests who are "controversial" to him, like jenna jameson, who works in the adult industry, and spends the whole program denigrating her for what she does for a living. once off air, he proceeds to hit on her and ask her to send him some of her movies. the same guy then goes on to write a chidlren's books advising kids about morality and making proper decisions in life. he's a walking definition of hypocrisy and filth.
he constantly makes up "facts" to support his theories and / or to discount those of his "guests". he insults guests who have opinions that are not in line with his own, shuts off their microphones, and tells them to shut up. yet he considers himself a reputable and fair journalist?
the guy is out to make a buck, and some people buy into it. they buy his books and his merchandise. i don't understand it. i don't understand how he is on television and has a venue to spread his lies and skewed opinion of reality. it's really quite laughable, and i do hope that most people see him as the joke that he is.

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

indeed...and that is not fiction.
