    Let's say global warming was a hoax does that mean we can go out and have a forest fire party, pollute the oceans or ravage our natural resources? I don't think that's the way for earthlings to care for mother earth, continue to recycle and conserve, conserve, conserve.

    Once it's gone it's more than like won't return in our generation.

    That was a very interesting article. This is the kind of needle in a haystack material that keeps me coming back here. Most (I dunno 90%) of our sea floor is undiscovered, so what this guy is saying makes a lot of sense. We as humans can only account for what we are aware of.

    Certainly we know enough already to understand that it all goes back and forth in cycles.

    My only beef is that the dinosaur extinction could have been caused by a huge impact which would have torn a pretty large (miles wide?) hole in the crust would have released all kinds of gasses etc...

    That and the 20 years to doomsday...and the god references.

    Aside from that, he poses a very convincing argument.

    Interesting read.

    In their report the pentagon notes that there is a historical tendancy for particular regions to experience periods of abrupt cooling within periods of general warming; see page 6 of the pentagon report below. Regardless you should know that any one season is of little relevance and contributes little to understanding the overall trends.

    To me this is the most unreported and unresearched aspect of climate change. As it's this number that dictates where dollars should be spent.

    If you think climate change is primarily manmade and reversable over a short period of time putting money into preventing climate change is the smart thing.

    If you think climate change is primarily natural and hance not reversable putting money into adapting to climate change is the smart thing.

    Please note, no where does it say that there is at least a 90% chance human activity is the sole cause leading the planet to warm up.

    How many time do i have to tell you i don't watch the news i don't even own a zombie box. So that kind of makes it a little hard.

    No i don't know everything on the subject i don't pretend to, but i do know that all the scientists that dismiss it are payed by the big corps. Now i wonder what the agenda is there.

    I don't think there's much doubt that the planet is experiencing climatic changes .
    What percentage of this is caused by man , and how much is down to mother nature is debateable .
