And, yes, in war there is always collateral damage, and it's very horrible and very sad. But we're there, and leaving will only cause more chaos. We;re the only thing keeping the country relatively stable right now. It was a mistake to go in, but it would be a much BIGGER mistake to leave.
Al Qaeda???

Okay, then who was orchestrating all the roadside bombs and suicide bombers and such in Iraq after we invaded? Attacks which killed Iraqi civilians AND our troops.I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

We're succeeding right now. The country is stabilizing, slowly but surely. Hear any news on suicide bombers and other attacks lately? Nope. Sure there are some here and there but not nearly to degree that they were.
And I'll say it once again, I DON'T support the initial act of invading. It was totally idiotic. Saddam posed no threat, and you're all right, NO connection to 9/11. What I'm saying is that now I believe we owe the Iraqi people as stable and peaceful a country as we can give them. Leaving now would not be the ethical thing to do.I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

lol...that's some funny shit...Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
