I don't think anyone can stop a state of mind or reaction to an action from happening...ever. It's impossible. The system will self destruct first. If one compares the standard of living to the west as the model, an it then turns around and blows shit up and then tortures people just the same (worse in scale actually), then it's all just a deception based on lies. It's like saying were perfect, and better, so be like us.....Ooops!
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Maybe your right that I can't blame Bush for everything but all I can go on is the personal experiences of the people around me and NOT ONE person is doing better now then under Clinton. NOT ONE without exaggeration.

You can disagree with me but Bush gets the blame imo for that. He is the leader of our nation.

While we're at it, let's blame Bush for forest fires and hurricanes and tornadoes. They happened to our nation, too. And Bush is the leader, so ... must be his fault.

Economists will tell you this dirty little secret -- the president has very little control over the economy. It's like a rubber band ... if it stretches too far in one direction, it has to snap back the other direction. No ifs, ands or buts.

The last official recession in our economy occurred during the Clinton administration, btw. I don't blame him for that, but it's a fact.

Another aside ... I'm doing better now than I was eight years ago, financially. So I guess I'm the exception to your theory there.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

Our economy does usually boom during war time...except for under Bush.

Let's say Bush was running a sports team and bad stuff kept happening. There is no way people would accept the answer that its just a downtime things will recover. Its really the fault of the people who used to be in power not our fault etc. The guy running that team would be fired and would never get another job. (Unless your Isaiah Thomas. He is actually a very good comparison to Bush.)

You have to respond to bad luck and bad situations with solutions that turn things around. I feel Bush hasn't done enough to help the failing economy and giving us $600 in tax rebates is not enough. Though I have no problem cashing that check! =)

dude you need to hang out with different people. just about everyone I know, including myself, is doing a hell of a lot better now then I was 8 years ago. seriously you dont know anyone that is doing better. thats insane and very sad. tell your friends to get the GED and do something with your lives.
