I would say sydney operaq house. Foo fighters played a few gigs there before. It would be something special.

Years ago crwoded house played there last show on the stairs of the opera house, overlooking our beautiful harbour...

    The Fillmore, San Francisco CA

    Holds approx. 1250

Sounds crazy but they could do a 10 night run over the course of say two weeks...i'd be down for sure!!! If I'm not mistaken, Tom Petty did a pretty lengthy run of like 6 or 7 shows not too long ago I believe. And The Black Crowes have done a 5 night run in 2005 and will be doing another one in Dec. of this year.

I don't know about everyone else, but I could go for a full band/electric set in a intimate environment such as the Fillmore over say...MSG any day of the week (let the flames begin).

So anything is possible and one can dream!

    Peace,

    RM

I agree. I'd like to see them in some smaller venues. The intensity would be awesome. I think it could work if they plated multiple nights in some of the major cities in the US.

I'd also like to see them at Alpine Valley again. I was at the ice bowl. What an experience.

I was lucky enough to see them at the Fonda in 06 and got in for free after 10 songs into their set. What a memorable experience.

The new Prudential Center in Newark. New York/New Jersey hasn't had a show in what, a month. It's about time they played here. Stop shunning the northeast.

Yeah I would love to see them play "the rock" if anything it would give me a reason to go there, I hear it's a cool place.

My first thought: PJ should come back to the NY metropolitan area and play the NEW YANKEE STADIUM !!! But, wait, there's more...then throw a smaller, intimate show for 10c members only at the Hammerstein Ballroom (capacity 3,700). My daughter is a bartender there, so...well, need I say more?

Didn't they just play 5 shows in the New York/New Jersey area?

I would say the top three outdoor venues here in the states are:

    1. Gorge
    2. Red Rocks
    3. Alpine Valley :)

Please add one more, albeit a small one:

The Pines Theater in Northampton, Massachusetts.
    Holds about 3,000 folks.
    It is an outdoor amphitheater.

Hey, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth lives in town. EV can visit.
    Hold On

Multiple nights at the fox would be unreal.I like the Gwinnett Arena as well, it's pretty intimate for an arena. I must say that I even like Phillips Arena, the sound and sight lines are phenomenal for a big arena, I've seen about 4 concerts there since I moved to Atlanta, and I've always enjoyed myself no matter where I sit. I'll throw in a few suggestions for my old stomping grounds-Shea's in Buffalo, The Hummingbird in Toronto and The Rivera Theater in North Tonawanda. I'd travel back home for those shows.
    I like bands.

Beaver Stadium @ Penn State!!!!!!!!!!! Before over 100,000 people would be sweet. It would be awesome to Pearl Jam as the first concert ever in the stadium. Thank GOD they canceled the Fergie concert they were suppose to have.

I would throw a shit fit if they played sultans pool in Jerusalem. The bands never been to israel and the demand is definitely existent. The capacity is at least 10,000 and has featured acts such as Led zeppelin, Rolling Stones, and fairly recently The Police.

Yeah, I was there... Best concert ever, bar none, PJ be damned.

Goat Island in the middle of the harbour would be the one place I'd prefer over the Opera House forecourts.

I loved seeing shows at Saratoga Springs. I saw an incredible show at Hershey Park, PA, Harrisburg, PA, also Merriweather Post Pavilion in DC. Red Rocks would be great. Of course I'd be thrilled if they came to Maine, they could play at Hadlock Field in our lovely city of Portland (the east coast one).

You really think SPAC is a shitty venue? It's one of my faves, and the sound is unbelievable! I was a little disappointed that PJ didn't come to Saratoga this tour, but in the future, they will!
