The U.S. has already invaded Canada. Remember the "you are either with us or against us" altimatum given to Canada in 1812? Then Canada with the Brittish army WTF pwned the U.S.
We went as far as to burn down the capital. It's not that we had a stronger military back then, we were just smarter, and I'm willing to wager the same thing would happen again. As long as the pussy in the White House doesn't use nukes. Which they probably would, for in order for the U.S. to declare war on Canada, they'd have to declare war on the world.
I submit the U.S. would have to take on Brittain, Russia, Japan, China, etc.. in order to invade Canada. The U.S. might be bigger, but we have more friends. It would be WWIII and it would end with the destruction of the U.S. infrustructure. The country would likely be divided up into foreign controlled territories. It would be the end of the United States of America.
That's my guess anyway. Someone would just cap the president. Americans need a leader to follow, Canadians only have Prime Ministers to laugh at.

lol...so true... come to think of it, I don't think I've liked any Canadian PM thus far. Maybe Kim Campbell out of sympathy. Actually.....no....still no.
I think it's every Canadian's past time to hate and mock every elected PM in Canada.
Chretien was by far the most comedic and easy to laugh at though. Rick Mercer cut his teeth so well on that guy

I'm trying to figure out what the hell they are raising money for. It can't cost that much to run that piece of shit website. It costed me $19.95/month to run a similarly shitty website.

I don't take Coulter and Carlson to be the typical American, but if they are, that's pretty sad. It's like the classic case of the dumbass bully picking on the smart kid out of jealousy. In the end the bully is a garbage man, and the smart kid is a CEO.

lol... seriously though. Ain't the god's honest truth. The height of arrogance. I think it's more like we don't need an army because we don't have any enemies

The world would be essentially screwed for quality maple syrup...aside from Maine , Vermont etc... which we consider Canada Anyways..
And there would be a serious shortage of laid back cool people in North America. This would suck definitely.

i couldn't get the link to work, even flow, but when chretien choked that guy it was fantastic. i assume that's what the link is to. ..."you want to be a prick? well, let me throttle you, even though i am the prime minister of the country..." beautiful.

Do Canadians know anything about Pakistan or Norway? Probably not. In fact, you'll have a hard time finding anyone in any of Canada's major cities who know the names of every Canadian province or their capitals.
Canadians are just a bunch of socialist underachievers

The only thing dumber than the people interviewed in these clips are the people that take it all too seriously.
I mean, give me a break, there are only so many provinces in Canada, its easy to name them all and their capitals, but unless you recite it all the time, there is no point in remembering it when you can just look it up in a book.
I don't blame Americans for not knowing as much about Canada as Canadians. But on the other hand, I could probably recite most of the states and their capitals.

If it came down to the US & Canada.....I might switch sides....Canada has better beer, nicer strip joints and black Eastern Grey Squirrels running loose in their urban parks........and you can watch a lot of hockey with a pay-per-view kind of package.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

So could more than half the population of Canada.
Everytime I go to the States, I encounter so many people who have no idea about major cities in their own country (like, where they are). They seem very...insular...quite a pity, actually...
PS. None of these are PJ fans, most of them travel around to see the band, so their knowledge of geography is pretty darned good!
^^ I'll second that. It is a little more than casual observation.
Maybe it's the cold/can't afford be aloof or you'll freeze to death thing?

I just asked my girl what the capital of Nunavut is and she said Iqaluit. Which it is. She got all of them except she got Fredericton and St. John's backwards.
I even tried to stump her by asking what the capital of Winnipeg is, but she caught it quick.
St. John's, New Foundland and Fredericton, New Brunswick.
I got some wrong, so... we aren't all geographically adept.
