So... is it wise to vote for the candidate who says he wants to change the Constitution to bring it in line with God's Standards... because of hatred for the other candidate? Shouldn't Americans be more interested in uniting America... than their own political party?

yes we should...but we're not. American politics is all about winning...it's a big contest to see who can win NOT who can lead the country. Most of the front runners are power greedy candidates. They care about helping themselves adn not others.

Hate is irrational.. alot of irrational people hate Hillary...

don't hang your hat on that.. the conservatives have had the white house for going on 8 years and have done more damage to this country than they could have had they been doing it on purpose.

    Hillary can win.

I hate to burst bubbles, but there are at least two of Republicans I know who wouldn't want to associate themselves with Huckabee. So, I think we can pretty much put to rest your statement that every single Republican will vote for him in a choice between him and Hillary. But, I don't think that's a choice we're going to have to worry about. Have you seen the caucus results lately? Large parts of the right do dislike Hillary, but the right wingers are not the majority in this country.

OK, every single Republican but two.

After George W Bush was re-elected, you can still say someone can't win?

Actually, the reason GW won is the same reason Hillary won't: There are more conservatives in this country than liberals. And they all came out to support their boy.

They will all come out again to vote against Hillary. I'm telling you. I understand these people.

Why would a conservative vote for GW?

actually, that's a good point. But they did. Because the other choice was John Kerry.

Think about it for a minute. George W. WAS reelected. That should tell you something right there. Democrats seem to be banking on the fact that Dubya fucked things up so bad that there is no way the dems can lose this time. Foolish thinking, pal. Hillary will not win a general election. i guaranfuckingtee it. Trust me on this. Nominate Hillary and lose. Flat out. i'm not a gambling man. i'm to broke to gamble, but i'd be willing to wager on this fact. Hillary will not win a general election. She may win the nomination, but that is the dumbest thing democrats could do. She stands no chance against any of them. Huckabee included.

Well, that is close to ture - there are many red neck angry ignorant Americans.

That is why general elections are a bad idea as long as we have television.

I am not a democrat, but surely the democrats should not consider getting dumb and angry so they can get elected.

Yes, that worked for the other side - hopefully another strategy can work.

Make no mistake. The Clintons will stop at nothing to get elected. Hillary believes this is her destiny. She's been pre-ordained as president. She has so many opportunities for this country, if we'd just let her offer them. ~sniff~

I hate her more than I like any other candidate in the race, on either side of the aisle.

why do you hate her? because she's determined to win?

i agree. it needs to be an edwards/obama ticket (or edwards/someone-other-than-hillary ticket) in order for us to win this thing.

been saying this all along about hillary. but then, i'm used to being ahead of the curve around here.

You've got the Edwards/Obama thing backwards. Obama/Edwards would work out.

i can't speak for slightofjeff, but i hate her perhaps more than he does and it has nothing to with what you call a "determination to win". It is the lying, cheating, slandering, intimidating and do whatever it takes to win at the expense of the American people and integrity of our democratic institutions. Neither her or her husband can tell the truth to save their lives. She is dispicable and nauseating. The United States desperately needs a leader and a uniter, and hillary is neither.
