I never said I like his stances the best. I said he would be one of my finalists were I able to vote in the primary - meaning that given the chance I might actually vote for him.

Assuming that I wouldn't vote for him, then why? If I'm not mistaken, he's for an immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq to be replaced by an international security force (correct me if I'm wrong). While I find that plan infinitely superior to the Bush Republican's open ended (i.e. never ending) occupation, I'm not sure it's the best one. At the moment, I think a more gradual (though still expedited) pull out would result in fewer deaths.

I temper this with words like "not sure" and "I think" because it's possible my views will change over the course of the next year. And, contrary to the news coverage I've been seeing lately, the first primaries are still a year away.

I meant 'you' as in those who do fear he's too much of a long shot. I know you already said that wasn't your reasoning.

I support an immmediate withdrawl. It can't get much worse and peace keeping forces, imo, will be able to do a much better job with less resistance than us...so Kucinich works best for me.

I don't like to set in stone any of these opinions either but so far the things Dennis has been saying and doing have been very refreshing and exciting. It's not hard for me to rally behind him with a happy conscience.
