Honestly, not really. At least in the case of the "Ma and Pa" grocers, i could understand it as a matter of relativity. 250 k might be a huge deal to them. A matter of "life or death" you might say for their small buisness, and personal livelihood. To be honest, for me, it would still be a difficult thing to do, but at least the ethics of it would be debateable. In the case of walmart, it is simply inexcusable. There have to be at least 6 or 7 of the fucking places in MY metropolitan area with more being built as i type this. There is no ethical excuse for them. None.

I thought your point wasn't based upon the amount they were worth. That it was black and white wrong, based solely on ethics and morals.

  • Of course because corporations are actually run by some evil, dark-side of the force style entity and not run by shareholders and officers who are actual people.

sure, and the nazis were just soldiers following orders.
  • I don't give a shit how they treat their employees.

you also don't have the slightest idea how a good economy works or how unions are formed.

When it all crashes you will be easy to spot.

You'll be the whiner aqt the end of the bread line wondering how the fuck this happened.

    I don't work for Walmart.

    yeah you do. want proof?

It isn't the disagreeing with me i have a problem with. Its the agreeing with and defending walmart for suing this woman.

Well, I think if you'll scan through a bunch of my shit, you'll see that I said Wal-Mart probably would have been better off letting this slide ... but ... it was their money.

Mostly, and this isn't directed at you personally, I'm just sick and tired of liberals telling me what to do. They tell me where I can shop, and what kind of car I can drive, and how much gas I can buy and what kind of food to eat and how to spend my money and how to discipline my kids .... and I'm just fucking sick of it.

I just want to be left the fuck alone.

The left's anti-Wal-Mart campaign is just fucking annoying to me. Yeah, they treat their workers like shit ... nobody put a gun to their head and forced them to work there. You don't like it, quit. Go work at Target. Or, better yet, go to college, get a degree and get a job that is a step up from menial labor.

    You reap what you sow.

And, yes, this has gotten waaaay off topic. Back to the thread about how Wal-Mart sucks ...
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do

Proof that I work at Walmart?

Sure. I'd like to see that.

Somehow I doubt that considering that I have a very secure job.

Besides, even if I did lose my job, I have an inheritance to fall back on. Thanks for caring though.

Well there ya go. That's a real step up.

why do I get the feeling child labor might be involved?
