No that is not the only source but it is one of the best. I bet you now are going to tell me that it was not a well made documentary. I mean it is not as reliable as your source which I bet is fox news.
Help us spread the word of the case of the West Memphis Three, this a wonderful opportunity to spread the much needed awareness, and get Damien’s, Jessie’s and Jason’s voices out there so they can hopefully be heard. You can help with this, its sounds corny but your votes really do count! Please Show your support and Vote NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Are you saying that no innocent people have ever been executed? I bet you believe OJ was innocent because by your logic the court found him innocent so he must be innocent. Have you ever seen Paradise lost? Bet you haven't probably a little to complicated for you. Sleep well at night knowing that an innocent man was killed.

Yes but OJ was still found guilty in another level of court.
Yes ive seen paradise lost...its called editing, it can make jeffrey dahmer into a fine young man.
Ill sleep fine at night knowing a man who committed a heinous crime is now in the firey pits of hell
From the limited research that I have done on this case, I agree with you. Maybe the were railroaded, but with all of the money that has been raised for their defense, I find it hard to believe that they haven't come up with anything in any appeal that wasn't substantial enough to get any of them a new trial.
well duh, i can't say that i'm absolutely 100% correct, i wasn't there...but the judicial system came to the same conclusion i did and from the last info i got, every appeal has been turned down since then. are you going to tell me that every single person that has been involved in prosecuting these kids and every judge that's had a part in these cases just want to put these kids away because they wore black coats and listened to metallica?
seriously, i'm tired of arguing this topic with the empty skulls around here (not pointing at anyone in particular). bottom line: they murdered 3 children. they're in jail for it, where they belong. echols will be put to death sometime in the future. i say not soon enough.
Maybe you haven't paid attention to what happened in Illinois. They released 13 people over 11 years who were INNOCENT!
In the aftermath of that Illinois conducted a study of the death penalty that showed SYSTEMATIC problems in the criminal justice system. Yes, police, prosecutors, crime labs latch onto suspects very quickly and then push the evidence, ignore witnesses, hide evidence, etc. Maybe Illinois was worse than Texas or Florida or Virginia or Arkansas, but somehow I doubt it. You can read the reports about Illinois here:
And in the Echols case, they're just getting around to doing DNA testing. How long has it been and no DNA testing?
Just because they got a trial doesn't mean it was a fair trial. I have a friend who worked on a death penalty case for 15 years. After 15 years -- and the guy within a month of his execution -- the defense team found out that the prosecutors were hiding an important piece of evidence that would have convinced a jury that the guy didn't commit the crime at all. You can't have a fair trial if prosecutors are hiding evidence.
And you're right, no one would care if Eddie didn't care. But that's a shame, because we routinely put people in prison -- and even execute them -- when they didn't commit the crime they were charged with. And if we don't care about that, what the hell have we come to?
Oh, and I signed the petition.

Oh yeah hell I forgot about that. That imaginary place that you Christians use to scare people into believing all this bullshit. So if you are a Christian what about though shall not kill. Oh that only applies to people that are just like you. Wow it is scary how many people believe in this drivel.

Oh wow I'll be banned. I can't imagine How much that would hurt. I don't know how you great guys even like Pearl Jam. I mean they stand for everything you hate like justice and equality. If anyone should be banned it should be you dipshits that spread all this hate around the board.
so now we have to agree with pearl jam politics to enjoy their music? you realize how stupid you are making yourself look? i doubt it

and none of that pertains to the echols case, or the miskelley case, or the baldwin case. nobody ever said "only guilty people are found guilty". and for your information, i can't wait for this dna evidence. it'll be funny to watch how everyone dances around the fact that it does nothing to help the defenses case. "it matches because it was tampered with" will most likely be the mantra around these parts.
by the way, with your friend getting someone off because of hidden evidence....what's the evidence that was hidden in the echols, miskelley, and baldwin cases? please, enlighten me. i'm dying to know.
oh, and i also voted. i'm trying (but not able) to vote every hour, but for something else on there that has nothing to do with the wm3.
it astonishes me sometimes. a group of people in this forum obviously believe these 3 are the guilty people. we state that, and the initial response to us is "you're brainwashed, you aren't educated enough on the subject, blah blah blah." keep hurling the insults, it does nothing to convince me or anyone else with the same beliefs as me to change our minds.

I'd give it all away, since I'm incompatible with the music, but idk if anyone would want my smelly socks. Then again...............liberal hippies might not even notice the smell!!

That's a great outlook, but I still don't know how you do it. If they started writing songs extolling the virtues of the Bush administration, I'd stop listening. I'd support until my dying breath their right to say whatever they wanted to, but I wouldn't pay good money to listen to it.

Who said we pay for it? I stopped paying for it right about the time the politics took over and knocked rock n roll and social awareness over. Here's the thing tho hippiemom.............
Stone's grooves arent political.
Mike's leads and fills aren't political.
Jeffs masterful and powerful rhythm aren't political.
Drummer number ___ 's beats arent political.
A good chunk of the lyrics arent political.
Only Ed is political.
I confess, I've gone from loving pearl jam in the 90's BECAUSE of eddie, to loving pearl jam in '00 DESPITE eddie.

i will admit since the release of binaural i've been less interested in the band, but only because i think the quality of the music has gone downhill. not a lot, but a bit. binaural (imo) is their worst release, riot act was a little better, and the self titled album is better than riot act. but none of those 3 measure up to yield.

Thats how I can explain it best.
That makes sense to me. I know plenty of people who listen to music mostly for the music. Me, I'm a lyrics person, there's no way I could ever tune it out, so that wouldn't work for me, but I can certainly understand how it might work for someone else. I know a good chunk of the lyrics aren't political, and I think I'd be able to appreciate those songs no matter what, but I know that I wouldn't be the PJ fanatic that I am if they held views that were totally contrary to mine.
