    exactly. Any powers that be who do end up boycotting or supporting "Tibet" are only do so to get at the Chinese government. It is a tool for their real agendas.

    The torch was never meant to run around the country. San Francisco was the only city U.S. to have a torch run.
    Maybe they picked S.F. because of their world famous Chinatown.

    well my thinking was san fran was chosen because of its history of chinese immigration through the city re: the gold rush, the railways et al. and the contribution made by the chinese in these ventures. :)
