    It will start coming out soon since there was a media outlet who had this information six months ago and decided not to use it. This was more well known (even within the page program) than the Democrats who are screaming foul now want to let out.

    I'll believe it as soon as I hear Republicans naming specific Democrats who knew as much as the Republicans did and said nothing. Until then, it's just funny to hear Hastert and others basically saying, "It's the fault of the Democrats! They knew we were going out of our way to hide a pedophile Republican congressman from the people, and they did nothing! The blame for this is clearly on their shoulders!"

    Even if it is revealed that Democrats did know about Foley, I'm not sure how it helps Republicans to point at Democrats and criticize them: "The Democrats were playing politics with this! They waited until an election year to tell you! We wouldn't do that! We weren't going to tell you at all!"

    you mean you want to cut and run from molesting kids? if you dont like molesting kids why dont you go live in another country? can you begin to see how asinine these republican talking points are now??? and i assure you this WAR is WAAAAYYYYYYYYYY more disgusting and perverse than anything foley could write in an e-mail to a teenage boy. the gruesome thing is not what one pervert wrote in an e-mail, it is that the republican leadership played lookout for him while he did it. i can excuse the fact that there are weirdos everywhere, nobody could hold the republican partry accountable for HIS actions, but this was swept under the rug to the detriment of other kids, and they are STILL lying about it. truth is, it is a shame the republicans are going down on an issue like this as opposed to their sicko legislation regarding throwing away civil liberties, condoning torture, giving the executive branch unbridled powers, and selling their votes to the highest bidding corporation, but they ARE going down, and when they do there WILL be an investigation into the real scumbags in this country and why we are in this PERVERSE war..... when that happens, this country may gain back some credibility, and respect, as of now we have nor DESERVE either. so do not lecture me on acting like an adult, look to your heroes in office and make the same request of them.

    It doesn't minimize the responsibility of the Republicans but does neutralize the political calls of the Democrats and the public in calling for all resignations from one side. Should the editorial board of the Florida paper who knew about this resign as well?
