  • i wasn't referring to you, i am talking about the bigger issue of whether they will finally saint the poor woman. apparently there has been some concern over this crisis she suffered. but i believe they need to be able to credit her with another miracle before they can canonize her, if i'm not mistaken.
no one's a saint. not ghandi, not dalai lama, not mother theresa, not martin luther king, not moses, not abraham ;)

    probably.... i don't know.

but collin has provided other links that suggest otherwise. maybe you should look into them.

a friend of mine who is a pentecostal referred me to the link. all it says to me though is that you can't really trust a human being. ever. buddhist, hindu, atheist, pentecostal, catholic, agnostic... no matter who or what... you can't put your faith in a single human being.

    except jesus ;)

Jesus was the world's only perfect man. Ever, forever, and always.

I think it was as recent as a year ago. Maybe 2 years. I don't know.

I'll bet she masturbated a few times in her lifetime, though.

Not that I should even mention that.

i don't know... maybe we should read more of her diaries. perhaps we'll find something about that.

just so you know.... i'm really not trying to defend mother theresa in any way.

I'm on a mission from God. I have special powers. I already know what you're doing.

Well, i would hope, that the actual validity any clip organized and edited by Penn and freakin' Teller would be, at best, seen as questionable. You're right though, there are no PERFECT human beings. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Dr. King, etc. are all examples of some darn good ones, and its sad to me that not even such fine examples of humanity as these are safe from those who, for whatever reason, would seek to dicredit them. Especially when its a couple of comic magicians.

You implied I lacked the insight of knowledge to understand what is being said about this issue. I say otherwise.

Only you can make values on human indivuations. You are safe to do so.
Is it a discredit when those values are truly valued by you? Or, is it possible your values are simply bargaining chips in a psychological game you play with yourself on a day-to-day basis? "Where do I stand?" If you had any faith to begin with, how could it be discredited by a couple of yahoo's on a TV screen?

:D are you quoting yourself to clarify yourself... to yourself??

i think for the devoutly catholic, it is a big deal, though many people consider theresa a saint already, just not "officially".
