Isn't it really about a woman who, despite not-feeling-that-heavenly swoon, managed to get a lot of work done for people who needed help? Isn't that interesting to anyone but me?

Well, yes and no. The original article wants us to believe Mother Theresa had moments of doubt. Well, who the hell doesn't?
It's a non-story story.
I'm taking up argument here with the dead who believe it is a story.
And since I'm on a mission from God, I am having success.
Well, i would hope, that the actual validity any clip organized and edited by Penn and freakin' Teller would be, at best, seen as questionable. You're right though, there are no PERFECT human beings. Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Dr. King, etc. are all examples of some darn good ones, and its sad to me that not even such fine examples of humanity as these are safe from those who, for whatever reason, would seek to dicredit them. Especially when its a couple of comic magicians.
How much do you really know about Mother Teresa or Ghandi? Of course you can find dirt on anyone if you search hard enough, and you could try to use that dirt to discredit those people's good actions and that would be a very low and dirty thing to do.
But if these things are correct about Mother Teresa that she let people suffer, that she didn't care about their wellbeing like she led the world to believe... than wouldn't it be very disrespectful to the ones she mistreated to canonize her, to praise her like she was some sort of an example?
It might seem disrespectful to you to look into these things but it only seems fair to me. I always admired Ghandi but if these allegations are true (and I will read more into it) I don't think I can admire him anymore. I mean these things he supposedly said are very racist, which contrasts with how the world sees him and his message. It would make him a hypocrit.
To me it's not about trying to discredit people, it's about finding out the truth whatever that may be.
you, on the other hand, are needlessly hostile and embarrassingly arrogant. it IS possible to discuss this without representatives of the vatican posting on the pearl jam message boards. you Do realize that, right? if you're not actually interested in this thread topic, why are you here?

I'm trying to point out that it isn't a topic at all. That's my mission. God told me so.

it is to me! and i'm not even religious. i guess that's what an open mind and heart does for a person.
