My side of the Boston Tickets story.

Wow I feel like Dave A. after reading that long thread ripping me to shreds.
I apologize for not following up on njcpt tickets.
But lets clear a few things up, I baught these tickets the day before the show while tickets were still on sale, so I did help him out, I do this alot, I actually give tickets, music, pj stuff away every tour to fellow fans all the time, I actually gave 1 of these tickets away. I GET IN OVER MY HEAD WITH PJ ALL THE TIME WHO DOESNT, IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MONEY AT ALL. I told my wife from boston mail this guy a check I kept telling her his adress was in the pms. I just checked he never pmed his adress, i have every 1 andf he should go back and check. I just got it from a friend on here ,while away and we did mail a check tuesday from fla. . I owed 3 differant people money for tickets, and other expenses. So I thought my wife took care of this. I heard 0 from njcpt except 1 time offering to get us backstage at a vedder solo show, never heard back from him at all. He mailed the ten club august 11 and I honestly just scanned back and found the email which my wife never told me about, I would have responed if I did like I do with everything. It went unoppened becasue it said please help nothing else in the signature
I admit guilt here for not taking this more seriously, but I honestly in my mind thought i was helping him out, and had 0 intention of stiffing him nor that he would get like this, again this was the day before we traveled and the same seats were on ticketmaster. So the urgency was lost and I apologize, as few said I have done alot of good on this board, donating to charity, taking people to shows, covering expenses.
I cant believe people on here posted my name and adress that is such crap, not even knowing the whole story to invade someones personal space is crazy. That is equally just as bad, some of the people on this board act so tuff behind their screens.

seriously when the thread is read correctly you can obviously figure out I didnt, so that is just crap.
I shouldnt have went on vacation until this was taken care of, maybee a phone call would have helped, I honestly didnt have this on my mind, tons of people owe people money its the way of the world, njcpt had other avenues to follow before ruining my name, its been 2 months and that is long, but he shouldnt have wrote the money off, he could easily have contacted me.
The best one is people commenting on my finances, like this was the issue, like I shoudnt have seen 8 shows before this boston show happened, maybee he should have sold these tickets earlier and used paypal if he needed the money quick, I have been in situations with people in here and honestly at least 6 times said i need no money thank you.
AS FAR AS PRIORITES LETS FACE IT TRAVELLING TO PJ SHOWS IN GENERAL IS A CLEAR EXAMPLE OF NOT HAVING THEM STARIGHT FOR ALL OF US.
As far as me starting another screenname because of this, think about it, why would I want to come on here except for the simple fact of bonding with fans, I have been a member here for almost ten years, made 3 close friends, I am all a sudden going to be a fake person and hide, nah and this place right now at least for the last 3 months has been evil anyway so there is no reason for me to post here, for now anyway. Im sure things will change again.

and brad, its nice to know the small amount of time we talked gave you a clear impression of who I am it honestly put a smiole on my face becasue all of these other jokers have 0 idea who any of us are they just assume the worst.
I also mailed a copy of the msg 2 show from 08, which is a show where I took a fan to for free, and in return he burned me this cd i gave to njcpt.

Hey, you're not the first person people got nasty at and suddenly judged. At least the guy took your address down and didn't put up your phone number like someone else. I feel a little bad being represented by the same people who like to judge just like this. There were some nasty things said.

The important thing is that it's cleared up.

Yeah still sucks though, my judgement gets flawed alot, I understand the guys worries but in my mind I would have handeled it differantly, but the key hear is my mind, not everyone thinks the same, and that creates problems in here for me.
but thievery is not something I can relate too. I will never buy anything like this again, I wish we could have met for this transaction.

I was one of the first people to say that I thought you had kicked karma in the ass on this. I was a bit saddened that I thought you had gone wayward as I had seen it happen to others I know.
That said, I was reserving judgment until you got back and cleared this up. Not that I think you need ANY confirmation from me or anyone else here, but I APPRECIATE that fact that you are coming in with a good frame of mind and EXPLAINING your side rather than lashing out. I beleive EVERY WORD you said, and on behalf of MYSELF PERSONALLY I woud like to appologize to you for being so quick to think it had all gone bad. I would deal with you ANYTIME....I am sorry....SINCERELY!!! scott

COOL, I honestly after thinking about this from all corners,to assume all that said trades are bad sometimes comunication from emails doesn not always work, in my case I only check my comcast accounts when I know something is coming, so i was at fault there, becasue if i did this would have never happened.

I was one of those who criticized your priorities, so I apologize.
I mentioned that I've never had any problems with trades/sales here, so I'm glad it was just a big comunication issue and nothing more. Glad things cleared up.
