Is it worth it to see ed solo?

This is a debate I have with myself daily. Flying from Philly to SD, for both SD shows and i am already up over $500 for flight, 2 shows, car rental, hotel etc. Actually, that's not bad, but I am only there for 3 nights and still have to eat.
It will be worth it as it will be a spiritual journey, seeing ed perform solo. If he winds up playing later in Philly or South Jersey, then I am going to kick myself and apologize to my wife a 1000 times for spending so much and leaving her with the kids by herself for so long when Ed wound up playing right here. So part of me really hopes he doesnt come East just to justify my actions of heading to Cali

I was just lucky enough to get through on Ticketbastard and get 4 for LA1. Instead of having to apologize to my wife, she was the first one I was sure that was going with me. She's just plain ole' cool. Then so I wouldnt have a huge gray cloud of guilt hanging over me for eternity, we decided to take the two chilluns, 16 and 12. They rock too. Whats it gonna cost? More than it should. Less than the price of my funeral. You only live once!!! Very fortunate to be able to go, and I am not some rich guy with buttloads of disposable income. I'm just gonna have to quit eating for a few months.

I usually kick myself if I don't go to a show that I could have gone to, but decided against it for practicalities. Then again, that is usually a Pearl Jam show in my home state. In my case, I live in LA and I am going to SB and LAI, so I am fairly certain I will be happy with my decision on this tour.
