the vegas is extremely suite- looks 3d in some spots- unless thats the ole' macular degeneration kicking in again ! the fingernails are creepy looking- and his shit eating grin is catchy,...no but seriuously it looks great,.. and also the typewriter-- is really awesome .!
the grenade girl isnt totally puke, but there are dozens of tiny little white spots all throughout her face- i am guessing this is not an isolated incident i have heard of areas of black or dark having white spots shine thru- ( like on Klausens DC 06 alltho i have yet to see this baby in person )
the green headless guy aint so bad either, i like the smaller sizes ( this one and LV )
only 2 or 3 more and i'm all caught up...
until europe and Aus/NZ.
if you could finance a tour of the US watching Pearl Jam every night by selling posters would you do it?
I think it's great when the little people hook up the other little people
No, I wouldn't do this. I have a pet cocker spaniel that from time to time comes into our house with a tick on her. I remove it right away. Her blood is her blood, not the tick's. She loves to run through the bushes but that doesn't mean that she should lose blood over it. This is how I view the ninersfan guys. They are takers. People enjoy the Pearl Jam posters and the ninersfans take from them. Their argument is that they provide people from all over an opportunity to buy a poster from a show that they weren't able to attend. Well, that sounds cool and everything, but I'd bet that most of the buyers are people that went to the show and weren't able to score a print.
I would love a Hartford '98. I had every opportunity to buy 15 DC posters when I was at the show. I could have flipped a portion of those and I'd have my Hartford right now. If you check my EB page you'll see that I don't have one. Everyone has reasons for the things that they do and I am in no way saying that I'm better than anyone else for not flipping posters. I just don't do it, that's all. The casual fan selling and the ninersfan selling are two completely different things. I don't have a problem with somebody selling an extra for a little extra. It's the fleecing that bothers me..."How much can I get." vs. "Lets be fair." I don't agree with the buying just to sell. I just don't think that putting a $$ value on everything is a good thing for the hobby. As a collector you have to do what you feel comfortable with to help your collection grow.

I bought a few boston posters because I knew I would want some west coast posters. So it was like paying $25 for the west coast ones to!
I did this too with some of the shows I went to. I set up a trade before the tour began and I traded east coast for west coast. When my shows were over I sent the posters on their way. It was a good arrangement and it has been fun watching the shows play out to see what I might get in return.

Yeah you know I did this to but people backed out. I was suppose to get a LA klausen but looks like the guy is backing out. If anyone needs any leg 1 poster for a Klausen LA pm me!

Yep, everybody wants to be on top. I guess the LA Klausen was just too good for you. That is just really cool.
This guy usamamasan1 might have a few. He seems to be buying and re-selling anything he can get his hands on. I've seen him post numerous times before, so I know he is an active board member. Just not too smart to use the same board nickname as your ebay name when you buy and sell that many posters..If you look on ebay for the portland poster, you will see that he has already bought 1, and has the high bid on all 4 or 5 that are for sale right now. Then click on his user name and look at his transactions...nothing but turning posters..

(yes this was my attempt at an exit from serious conversation ... if i wanted to think i'd do the work I avoid by hanging in here)
ninersfan is a person/group on ebay that sell concert posters for rediculous amounts of money because they are in demand. Usually 3-4posters per show, sometimes more. He was actually selling posters before he bought them for a couple of shows. Basically the ultimate flipper...
Comparable to a drug dealer i suppose... hahaha he always has some but you gotta pay
im guessing this is one of those that definitely " looks better in person"
from the picture its just too busy looking -- the lettering is getting lost somehow. & finally, could they have made the cyclist just a tad smaller ?

here's a closeup of the biker and i still can't make it out. at first i thought the lettering was mixed into the mountain side but i think it is all at the bottom.
My favorite poster of the year so far. I love the feeling of the space, you can feel the biker holding his breath for the jump. Somebody on the crew sign Klausen up to do a poster for every frickin venue!
the palms, in the breeze, still blow green
and the waves in the sea still absolute blue
Thanks for the link. After looking at all the recent posters, the two shows I went to (and bought posters for) are two of the weakest!
Santa Barbara & SF2 are basic 3 color silk screens (high school art class skill). I still like them and they look nice in my apartment, but I like most of the other posters better!!

no you were right, the pic is pretty fuzzy so its hard to make out, but 'Pearl Jam' is spelled out on the face of the cliff
Actually, everyone keeps saying it's a "mountainside" but it's The Gorge cliffs. Anyone who has been to The Gorge knows the stage that sits on the edge of a cliff and the Columbia River rolls through the middle with another set of cliffs in the distance, sort of like a mini Grand Canyon.
