thanks guys...I appreciate the responses...it will be interested to see if Ames does step it up for Leg 2 after a less than impressive showing on Leg I (with a few exceptions of course).

an unrelated question: when they head overseas, does Ames also offer subscriptions for those posters as well? Thanks.

Tonight's poster is a nice change for Ames. It's a little "Detroit," but better, I think. Still not spectacular though.

No, I wasn't at the show. I just saw it on Ebay at about 11:30. Wait, was the show even over at that point?!

I don't think it was NinersFan posting it, either. More people are straight-to-Ebay now. What fans! What art lovers!

the design is okay as seen on the computer--- - but probably better in first person.

But clearly, this Klausen print doesn't come close to the Ames design of 03 ( when the show was cancelled ) .( this one : http://www.bigpopposters.com/getImg.asp?UID=230&Image=BigPicture )

The "buy it now" prices are 61-125, lol. I went to the Cincy show but don't really like the poster that much. I guess I may never own that one. The speculative selling of these is getting ridiculous.

Why in the hell can't they limit these to one poster per person. I left the show walking behind some girl carrying 4-5 rolled up into a bunch. They can mark my hand in permanent marker to get down on the floor. Why can't they do the same if you bought a fucking poster?

I wonder if the market will die down and pricing will improve after the tour.

This is my favorite quote from one of the auctions. "It has been stored by a TRUE FAN in the car during the show and will be shipped to you in the same condition.

How are these people getting this out to there car. Do they let people reenter venues these days?

Eh, this one looks so-so to me. Definitely not top quality though. Maybe the upcoming ones will be better.

    Maybe not.

Ha! That's awesome. A "true fan" who is now totally going to capitalize on it by doubling their money. So loyal!

I just kept Toronto and Albany.

Was debating keeping the others, but I'm a little short on cash right now, so I'm just parting with them for about what I paid for 'em. I think that's pretty fair.

    hey
it wouldnt be a bad thing to even make a few pennies if you decided to flip them on e-bay,
    they're yours ---go for it . !

i dont even have the wall space to accomodate all of these either.

good thing for those bully boxes.

hey, is that red typewriter going up today?
i might be interested in that one,...
