what choke? the yankees were a terrible team in '04. any yankee fan will tell you that. there was no reason why we should have even made it to the ALCS with that team, let alone win three games. btw, if you wanna talk about biggest chokes in history: check game 6 in '86, game 7 in '03, and the entire second half of the '78 season. also i think there have been two 3-0 comebacks in hockey.

But he got his big money by whining and not going to SD with Daddy's help...all that matters in the Manning family is big contracts and ad revenue, not winning.
And San Diego in hindsight is much happier with Rivers and Merriman than they'd have been with Eli. That trade is almost as one sided as the Herschel Walker deal or Parish and McHale for Joe Barry Carroll.
