well, look on the bright side.
if you shelled out 770 bucks like me, this is what we have to look forward to -I was wondering what all the extras entailed and I wrote the gal over at Bipoppa- Jenne- and she wrote me back:
1st Leg Test Print, these are prints that are done by the silkscreen artist, they are 1/1 S/N by Barry and/or Coby. The test print is what the silkscreener does to check the work before they do the full print run.
Ames Bros Art Print, A poster that is print run of 100, that only the folks that purchased the full set will get. It will be S/N the same number as the rest of the posters in your set.
Other Surprise Goodies, well it's a surprise!

heres the image of Hartford from ExpressoBeans:
* whats with the scribbling color method ? Did they have their kids color in these prints? I dont get it..... http://expressobeans.com/images.php?art=32490
Heres the image of Albany from ExpressoBeans:
* reminds me of the Quebec City 05 Canadian edition- blase` colors and mediocre design... imo http://expressobeans.com/images.php?art=32458
definitely not masterpieces- but hey-
to each their own
im sure people that were at these shows want these posters.

albany is kinda fun... looks like my 4th grade teacher
but wow... i was at hartford and i don't even want it ... with my luck that will be the test print i get ... although maybe it will be colored within the lines on the test print??
i'll just trade it for a toronto 2... birds are much more exciting then dragons
thanks for the info on the extras... that's cool... i'll also hold out hope for the other posters
i dont know about " at the shows " but i remember hearing they would be giveaway/ promos at record stores - supplied by J Records. On Methanes site, I believe they said record company giveaways.
Thanks for the amazing response! We have sold out of our entire stock of Pearl Jam tour posters. Sorry we do not have more at this time.
This poster will not be reprinted, but there is a small chance we will have a few more for sale once all of today's transactions are processed. Please check back here over the next couple of weeks for updates. Thanks again...

We are very excited to have been asked to create this poster for the upcoming Pearl Jam tour with My Morning Jacket. We have had great interest in it from you and we greatly appreciate it.
Like all of our limited edition silkscreen posters, supplies are restricted to a certain amount. Once they are gone they are gone. We don't reprint posters.
There are 650 in this edition. We have about 100 and the band/label has the rest. As with all our posters, the price will increase as our inventory dwindles. We gave a bunch to the band and label to distribute how they wish and have a limited amount ourselves to sell. We sign and number all posters.
Thanks again for your interest in our first Pearl Jam poster design. The response has been overwhelming!

that really could mean anything- they'll probably show up outta nowhere-
or on the evil-Bay. Did you get 1 , BostonL ? Its very hard to believe they had only 100. I know there was quite the " buzz" about it on here and ovber at bry, and RM, so they had to have alot of traffic, and people were allowed to purchase 2 . I still dont understand why they did the 2 allowed thing, but oh well.

Anybody got one from anywhere other than ebay or the Methane website when they went on sale?
EDIT - I tried a couple of indie record stores around here (and by that I mean the closest being a few hours away) but none of them had it.
sorry i have no extra
unfortunately, being that Methane allowed 2 per purchase, it inherently allows or accomodates flipping them over on evil-Bay .
I think that perhaps that m,ay be the only option as of right now. Or, perhaps in time, they will reissue them or they will come down in price.
good luck either way, hipster !

you're right - that site stinks when trying to order something. These 3 have gone pretty fast so far, it will be interesting to see how the rest go for the tour. Wish Klausen had a website to purchase from.
if the klausen posters (toronto night 2) are included in the subscriptions? i know they were for the canadian tour...eg...ottawa.
not this time, alltho on the advert they sen out ( scroll up a few if you havent seen it ) itdid list klausen as the artist for detroit, but barrry @ ames has said that was an error & all posters are ames .

This is the e-mail response with answers to my questions.
They have been really good with getting back to me via e-mails.
Thanks, Jenne @ Bigpop .
1 ) How many Batches of " 100 " are there ? There are 100 of each poster design that come from Ames/Big Pop, a certain number are set aside for the sub sets, and a certain number for individual, but no more than 100 of any design comes out of here.
2 ) Weren't the sub-sets ( like the one i purchased last week ) the first run, first 100, first signed and numbered copies and are they considered AP1 s ? All of the prints are the same run we get 100 of them
3 ) Are these subsets posters considered AP1 ? They could be although other than the 03's there will never be another AP2
4 ) What are AP1, AP2, and so on, and what does each stand for ? AP is Artist Proof as for the 1 & 2, I'm not 100% sure what that is about. It all happened before I began working here.
5 ) How many totalled copies are issued, printed, and signed and numbered ? Is there any info on this ? The number of posters acutally made depends on how many Pearl Jam request for each show, Ames then gets 100. Only the 100 that come from Ames are Signed and Numbered. The ones sold at the show are unsigned and numbered
6 ) Are there only 100 totalled copies that are signed and numbered ? Yes

So, if I'm reading correctly, they only print 100. Some were sold with the subs from last week, some are included in today's sale? That would mean that not all subs were actually sold then?

yeah - thats a little unclear.
i guess i was wrong when i assumed they put 100 sub sets up for sale , and then all 100 of those sub sets sold out.
They draw us to the conclusion, that there are only a total of 100 that Ames gets after PJ takes theirs, and they are the signed / numbered posters .
oh well....
maybe after we all get our sets, and see the #s they assign us, we can get a better idea.
