When you're in the can... especially when you're sitting on the shitter with your pants off your waist and your bunghole exposed... you DON'T make contact with anyone else... right? You DON'T scoot your foot over to tap the foot of the guy in the next stall... you DON'T stick your hand under the wall and wave... HELL... you DON'T even pretend to exist.. right? We all do... guys, that is. The only ones that do this stuff are the guys that want to share their stall with another guy.

Yeah yeah yeah I didn't know all the details. It sounded very vague at first. I don't know about the rest of you guys though, but I do enjoy putting on finger puppets and putting on a show for the guy in the stall next to me. I've lost touch with my gay friends and am just not up to snuff on all the public restroom sex scuttlebutt I suppose. Honestly though, of all places, when someone is on the shitter?! How nasty is that?!

But seriously...no shit eh? ....you'll have to excuse my toilet humor...

If some guy waved at me under the stall and started flirting with me, I'd be getting ready to pop him square in the jaw upon exiting if the situation escalated.

That is just creepy as hell...

A disturbing level of sexual deviancy is what that is.

alrighty so he's not gay, he just solicits sex from men in a public men's room.

I didn't see his entire angry press conference, but none of the comments that I've heard actually denied soliciting sex in the bathroom... All I heard was, "I'm not gay" or "I love my wife" or "I did nothing wrong in that airport bathroom"... that's great and all, but did you try to get some man-love from the guy in the stall next to you?

Something doesn't make sense here. How could tapping your foot constitute lewd behavior? Wouldn't you have to actually participate in lewd behavior to be guilty of it.

There is something refreshing about cases like this. Like "serves you right, you hypocrite".
However, why was he arrested? For being gay? Was he bothering a lot of people who tipped the police, or did the police just start surveillance in order to catch gays in the act?

im guessing it ws part of a plea deal. from essentially soliciting sex or prostitution or something to a simple misdemeanor that's naught but a fine and an embarrassing black eye.

Evidently there were reports of lewd behavior and men soliciting sex from that particular bathroom. That is why there was an undercover cop there in the first place. Craig demonstrated the reported behavior of someone looking for man lovin so he was detained. It is not like he will have to serve time for this but for someone who voted against every piece of gay rights legislation in his term he deserves the embarassment for being a hypocrite.

Prostitution is one thing, but let's hope that soliciting sex never becomes a crime!

Either there's a lot more to what took place in the bathroom, or I'd have to think that enforcement of the disorderly conduct law is getting a little over zealous.

He may be a hypocrite, but essentially arresting someone for tapping their foot in a restroom where "soliciting sex" has been reported seems a bit out of line to me.

And sticking his foot and hand in the neighboring stall?

Looking for sex isn't illegal. Having sex isn't illegal, provided it's in private. Soliciting sex in a public place - likely so you can have sex in public, is apparently a misdemeanor. Actually having sex in public is probably a more serious offense.

Well.. all I know is that when I'm in a Public restroom... I basically turn into a deaf, blind mute. Someone tries to speak to me... I pretend I'm deaf... tries to gesture to me... I'm blind... and I don't talk to anyone... except maybe at the sinks as I'm washing up.
Someone slides his foot into the stall I'm in... or does hand gestures under the wall... I'm summoning up all of the gastro pressure I can and blast that turd out of my ass and get the hell out of there. And i think most other guys will, too.
    ...
I especially like his press remarks about 'Not being Gay'. Sorry, bud... but if you're looking to bang man bunghole in a public shitter... face it... you're Gay.

I'm only going by the article posted and it just said tapping his foot.

If soliciting sex in a public place is illegal, then we need to close down all bars!

For my money, nothing in his police report is better than, "Craid handed me a business card that identified him as a United States Senator as he stated, "What do you think about that?" I responded by setting his business card down on the table and asking him again for his drivers license"

and then there's this instant classic:

"He has a wide stand when going to the bathroom and that his foot may have touched mine"

There's a difference between solicitation and hitting on someone.

    And restrooms aren't bars.
  • I went and read the police report last night. It says that Craig actually stood outside the cop's stall and was repeatedly peeping inside to see what he could find. He didn't go away - he just stood outside and kept peeping inside for something like 2 mins. or more. The cop said he could actually tell the colour of Craig's eyes because he stood there looking for so long. This guy is a fucking creep.

So it's illegal for me to go up to a girl and ask "Can we have sex"?

I think gays are being discriminated against here. If they want to ask someone to have sex with them in a public place, they should be allowed to just like anyone else can. I'm not talking about soliciting prostitution here, but rather just soliciting sex. I don't think it's necessarily illegal for straight people.
