They know I usually carry an equalizer so they aren't confrontational.

this is funny...you are going to vote for a guy who will take that "equalizer" away

on a more serious note, as much as i hate Obama, i would not do that to someone's lawn

    One 12 gage Mossberg 500: 250$
a pack of energy drinks: 15$
    A lawn chair: 20$

The look on there faces after you ambush them, hyped up on Monster, with a shotgun at 3AM.......priceless.

Try the middle of the afternoon. That's when this happened to us.

I'm still annoyed a day later, so I'm taking the photo and returning the McCain sign to their local headquarters. I'm letting them know that since we didn't request their sign, they can have it back.

My neighborhood is full of McCain/Palin signs. Ugggggh. It needs some balance. I normally don't put signs in my yard, but I tried to get an Obama sign last week to be a counterbalance in my neighborhood...they were all out though. :(
  • If people don't respect the first amendment...i.e. the first one on the list...a.k.a. "the prime directive"....what hope is there for these individuals, and the public at large?

    ouch...
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

  • As much as I feel annoyed when I run the gauntlet, walking down my street between dozens of McCain/Palin lawn signs, I wouldn't trespass on someone's private property to express myself. I really don't appreciate the asshole who went up on my lawn today ... kicked in and mutilated my Obama sign, and put a McCain sign beside it.

I hate living here right now.

that is so fucked up wrong. I would never do that or condone it. a complete coward does stuff like that.

If I were you, I would put up 6 Obama signs and leave the mccain/palin one torn up in shreds, to make a point. ;)
