admit it you didn't register to vote yet ;)

also, in ohio, there are several very important issues on the ballot. so even if i don't like the candidates, i want my voice heard on the issues.

    Actually, I registered "Independent".

  • Any thoughts on the new voting machines? The one in my polling place looked like it was manufactured by Fisher Price. It was simple to use, but something about it didn't make me feel very confident that my vote was counted.

well it depends who you voted for.
The less you know, the more you believe.
  • I had to color in dots with a "special" magic marker.

Besides the Governor Race there were pretty much nothing but Dems on my card to vote for anyways. I did get to vote for Ted Kennedy though. :o

Voted for a Green party candidate for Treasurer too.

Yes. Why would I want to encourage uninformed voting regardless of the percentage?

Have good freinds that don't vote for the reason that if they don't vote they deny the legitimacy to the candidates. If indeed that were the case I would do the same...but unforntunately that isn't working as there are enough that do cast a ballot and always will that I go to the polls. I do know that the Christian right and Republican party work together to furhter their respective causes...and since the Pres nominates supreme court justices...I have to vote Democrate (or for Kinky or libertarian/independents when no Dem is running). I went to polling station at middle school this morning...and the loud speaker came on and had all the students stand...the voice gave a hokey Texas Pledge of Allegiance then "Lets have our moment of silence" then after minute the voice said "Please sit down". I got sick in the stomach and knew why I voted straight democratic ticket line (except as stated above).
