    They are all over the so cal, catalina, san fran, oregon, and into Baja. to say it is not their territory really isn't true. they are passing through all the time.

    Oh to NYPJ1- UCSD and Scripps Oceanography Inst. have a shark breeding program. I believe great whites are part of it. I dunno if that has anything to do with today's attack, and I'll have a serious problem if we're breeding 15 footers...

    Actually, the Tiger Shark and Oceanic White Tip are considered just as dangerous. maybe more.

    Especially in Hawaii. Tiger Sharks have been major predators in Hawaii, for a long time.
