    Rare? I'm suprised.. Great Whites are spotted all the time near San Francisco and go as far north as Alaska to hunt seals..

    You gotta watch more shark week. :cool:

    don't you all reckon great whites are just a magnificent looking beast? they look dead serious. they have a purpose and they stick to it. i love them. they make all the other sharks look like guppies. i just weep for grey nurse sharks, they look so dopey. :D

    I agree. They're definitely the badass of the shark family. Also, I like the whale shark...so frumpy looking, but yet so graceful!
