LOL! Woah there, guys!! Back off! LOL! I'm certainly not saying "kill the sharks"!! It's just such a rare thing in California. The water is really cold here and it's extremely unusual for a shark to be spotted let alone attack someone.

I have no problem with sharks. It's just an uncommon thing for San Diego, so I thought I'd post.

    Ugh, well that really sucks.

I was watching a shark documentary awhile back & there are more around then people think. I forgot where they filmed it, but the water was pretty clear. They took an arial shot from a small plane - and you could see dozens of sharks swimming pretty close to the shore that all the people/families were swimming......pretty scary.
    My lips are shaking.......

aah AC dont be like that. :) we should def hear when humans get eaten by sharks. but we should also not forget that sharks dont know were human. they dont know were king of the world. to them, if we're in the water then were food. there is a reason why theyve been around for millions of years. :)

My thoughts exactly. It's their home. It sucks and it's scary, but it definitely won't keep me from going boogieboarding this summer!

you know what i find amusing?

standing on the beach and looking out at the shark nets.you can clearly see them, where they start and where they end. and i wonder what the swimmers are thinking. cause you know those shark nets are not in one continous line(at elast not at the beaches i see them). there only so long and its just by pure fluke a shark will actually swim into the damn things. and people think theyre safe. LMAO!!

    anyhoo im very pro-shark. :D
