i say give me a call when Nader comes up with a new platform, the whole "attack the democrats" platform is pretty old and stale

and they still NEVER mention McCain

they are typical politicians, attack the most popular candidate to get attention for themselves

    typical?

who else is bring up Obama's conflicting and hypocritical voting record??

Answer: No one not even Clinton because she wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

You're right...we shouldn't talk about all the failures of the Democratic party, just keep on doling out that blind support no matter what. They count on it and you are more than eager to please them.

you are clueless when it comes to Nader. You prove it every time you bring him up. why not read up a bit before making claims that are false?

I mean, fuck! Nader's the only candidate still pushing for impeachment to hold Bush/Cheney accountable for their crimes.

The other guys are happy just as long as they're out of office...letting Bush and Cheney get away with all of their bullshit.

    Go buy a clue.

yeah, i am clueless about ralph nader

That's all you have and you strecth it sooooooo far to act as if you've got something everytime. It really starts looking pathetically desperate after a while.

You remember all those questions I pmed you and you kept saying you would get to....yeah, not too much to say, eh?

I probably missed some debate on this a while ago I'm sure but...

Do you know what "insider trading" means? That's not Ralph Nader. The tax scandal you speak of has to do with Nader owning stock of companies he has rallied against. Insider trading is when you trade stocks of a company you are employed by (or own more than 10% of) using inside information.

You're the one thinking a vote for Obama is going to change something....lol.

I'm voting for who best reflects my ideals. I don't expect anything out of that except my clear conscience and satisfaction that I did what I felt was right.

I'm saying to buy a clue if you don't see how Nader has been blasting republicans for YEARS and continues to do so. The only difference is, he doesn't play favorites like you do and excuse the corruption of the democrats while hypocritically only focusing on the wrongs of the republicans. He's smart and honest enough to point out the wrongs and the facts about BOTH.

or trading stocks based on inside information you have regarding action your organization is about to take against a company

i know exactly what it is. maybe your the one that needs to read up on mr nader and the skeletons inhis closet

i cannot wait to come on here in 8 months... and see no nader supprt at all, just like what happened with that idiot ron paul... a bunch of peopel on the net screaming that he is the best options and all that and that they were enlightened because they supported a candiate that didnt even believe in evolution... every thread was about ron paul... every post was about ron paul... and now, poof, all gone

typical online "grassroots" support, what a joke

    Oh I'll be here.

And now smaller movements are a joke??

Jeez, you have changed. The best movements are the small ones that come from groups of people uniting and standing up for what they view as right despite the odds....not some mass marketed, corporate campaign.

Millions of people fall for the campaigns of Bush, McCain, Hillary, Budweiser, Starbucks, Nike....so numbers ain't saying much, dear. I'm always gonna back what I believe in. The masses have a knack for letting me down anyways...remember 2003?

I voted for Nader in 2000 when I was 18 and again in 2004. I was fortunate enough to see him speak in 2005 (yep, he was doing something after the previous election) and will continue to support him in his fight for democracy and consumer rights.

don't forget his shifting stances on support from lobbyists!!

they won't be in my white house!!!
    to
they won't dominate my white house

i don't take money from lobbyists!!!
    to
i only take a couple hundred thousands from them

    i don't deal w/ lobbyists!!!
    to
i don't deal w/ lobbyists on a federal level, only state ones

or rezko and i only did a little bit of work on a legal case, i never knew him!!!
    to
oh, yeah, and i forgot i bought a house next door to him, i bought land from him, he was on some of my campaign finance committees and held fundraisers for me at his house

orrrrrrr how he's so against this war and how we were mislead into it
    to
well, one of the main ppl responsible for misleading us deserves a raise to sec of state

let's not even get into all the things he didn't bother voting on like real id, fisa issues and several other issues, remember, last time i brought this up your only reply was trying to list what kucinich didn't vote for instead of addressing my point, too bad you didn't have this great all-encompassing thread idea back then, maybe you could've posted all your kucinich and nader shit in that instead of using it as your stock reply to things about obama

because if you are debating politics and sharing your view on why you see your candidate as the best choice, wouldn't every vote that you could switch to your side count? Every seed of doubt that you could cast would count? Wouldn't you be talking about your dislikes of all the other candidates, not just one? You don't know how many people read these posts. The mccain one alone had over 2000 views.

Power of one person = one vote.

There have been plenty of pro Nader threads for that. And honestly, of the 3 or so people here actually supporting McCain, I don't see a hardcore rightie that would vote McCain in the first place switching over to a very lefty Nader. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to waste time replying to those threads. Even the conservatives on here are constantly saying how they don't really care for him. I prefer not to waste my time stating the obvious.
