I am sure you are speechless because you believe Hezbollah are these horrible terrorists. Most Lebanese citizens are grateful they have them because as I said they are newly beginning their democracy with absolutely no help from other democratic states. In the meanwhile, Israel had already been attacking Lebanon. The Lebanese army couldn't stop them, because they are weak at this point, so Hezbollah is the only defense this country has against.
You know, all because Syria or Iran may be backing them, so are the Lebanese people.
I know if I lived in a country that was newly changing and we had no defense and some fuckers were bombinh us...I'd thank God for a militia...but many would also call them terrorists.
It seems we call a lot of groups "terrorists". The term is not always accurate and I am sick of my own leader using it so carelessly.
Explain why Hezbollah us bad? Please! Hell, even some of them are in office in Lebanon.
Terrorists is a good catch all term these days for anyone who opposes the mighty super powers!!!
I think many would call me one just cuz I oppose King George. As a mattter of fact I think republicans, maybe even George, has said that about us who oppose what he is doing in Iraq!!! I am pretty sure it happened. We were even called treasoners.
    Save room for dessert!

Thank you! People want to pretend or be in denial and act like Hezbollah drew first blood. Israel did and screw that. They are cowards to attack a weaker place just starting to try and become democratic.
And WTF...doesn't Israel want them to become democratic?
    It seems like they don't.
It would had made the area more stable and Israel is sabotaging that. I wonder why.
I will say this..Bush can call the shots over there...and he needs to send a stronger message to Israel. That "show restraint" spiel was not strong enough. We give them a whole lot of OUR money, mine and yours. I don't want it spent like this!!!

I'll have to disagree with you on a few points. I've spoken with Lebonese people, none of which support Hezbollah. They agree with the goals of Hezbollah but not their methods and refer to them as "criminals". The Hezbollah hold one seat in the Lebonese government, not a considerable amount.

The word Terrorism literally means "an act or threat of violence for political leverage" so in actuality that term isn't used enough. It should be used to describe much of Israel and the United States' actions aswell.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

Thats what makes me mad is the majority in the country are being punished for the only reason that a minority of nut-jobs live within their borders...it hardly justifes a attack of this magnitude....

And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings

Sorry, I omitted one important detail, it's an act or threat of violence on a civilian population for political leverage. Otherwise war would just be one act of terrorism after another. The case still stands though that Israe and the US have carried out acts of terrorism.

I know..I thought you and I were on the same basic page.
It seems another case of reading what they want to read from their own distorted view.
Maybe the US need to go bomb Israel...Hey, I can dream.
Those jewish votes here in America mean a lot...so we will keep kissing their ass.
Do you ever wonder if the US is afraid of Israel... I sometimes wonder.

    Talk about too easy. ;)

Thanking allah for hezbollah is a bit much. Wishing for th eUS to bomb Israel...

all very good examples of trying to act like a pacifist when all you really want is for a specific side to get bombed/killed. But, I'm willing to admit that I may be misjudging your comments...at least somewhat.

Oh yeah, but really, it's not all about you Heather.

People all over the place who like to parade around as some kind of morale high ground against war/killing when they are just pissed about who has more of the bombs.

Israel is claiming they are not at war with Lebanon, yet it is their civilians who are dying. Israel has bombs that can target specific areas with accuracy...so why are they missing so badly?
I am not concerned with who has more bombs..I am concerned about picking on a country that is so much weaker and was really trying to become democratic. This fucked that up!!!
The thanking Allah part was basically an off the cuff remark...I do not believe in any higher power.
The US bombing Israel was again something to drive a point home.
I am sick of us kissing their ass and giving them tons of money when they are the ones who continually are the worse to keep unrest in that area. Isn't it our attempt to bring peace to that region...and on the other hand we support the country who are the instigators to akke sure that never happens.
They really are working against our interest in the middle east.
Who really is our worse enemy over ther? They seeem to be the one who sabatage all our work.
And I am not as much of a pacifest as you may think.

That is the point of the film, is that israel IS targeting civilians, not just Palestinians, but Americans. The film speaks for itself. The myth that israel targets terrorist is just that a MYTH.
Excellent point. The Israeli government and military are warmongers.
Suicide bombing is an atrocity, any form of killing is.

But don't for a minute say that Israel are defending themselves.
