Apparently, the McCain/Palin issued a statement or something DEFENDING these people and attempting to turn it around on Obama. Man, that's just fucked up.

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1008/Defending_the_crowds.html#comments

"McCain spokesman Brian Rogers pushes back against the storyline of rabid McCain crowds and Obama's criticism:

Barack Obama’s attacks on Americans who support John McCain reveal far more about him than they do about John McCain. It is clear that Barack Obama just doesn’t understand regular people and the issues they care about. He dismisses hardworking middle class Americans as clinging to guns and religion, while at the same time attacking average Americans at McCain rallies who are angry at Washington, Wall Street and the status quo.

Even worse, he attacks anyone who dares to question his readiness to serve as their commander in chief in chief. Raising legitimate questions about record, character and judgment are a vital part of the Democratic process, and Barack Obama’s effort to silence and shame those who seek answers should make everyone wonder exactly what he is hiding."

I also read just a little bit ago that McCain was telling his supporters to now be respectful.

actually, news just coming in that in Wisconsin today, McCain actually told the crowd to be respectful,

He actually said, in a somber tone, (of Obama) "He is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared as president of the United States."

Me thinks McCain got the message that indeed, if he was going to continue on with that hate speak, if Obama won, there were going to be angry mobs int he street.

That makes me feel a little bit better. I didn't want to think that McCain wants to destroy everything in this country. I mean, not if he's putting country first. :p

All of this hatred is becoming very concerning.

"John McCain: If your campaign does not stop equating Sen. Barack Obama with terrorism, questioning his patriotism and portraying Mr. Obama as "not one of us," I accuse you of deliberately feeding the most unhinged elements of our society the red meat of hate, and therefore of potentially instigating violence."
  • My daughter just heard them yelling "commy faggots" in this video and started yelling the same thing at her Boots the Monkey doll.

These people are fucking shameful. I would be embarrassed to be aligned with them in any way. (Actually, I am embarrassed to be an American when I see stuff like this.)

I've never trusted that Boots. I've always suspected that him and Swiper were a one monkey/one fox terror cell
