Is this the "quiet rage" in the black community that Barack Obama was talking about a few weeks back? You know, the one he blames on everyone else because of so-called institutional racism?

My post was complete sarcasm. I am totally against the death penalty. It's my fault for refusing to use smilies. But trust me, I wish there was no death penalty at all.

Well thank god for THAT. I thought I discovered a lunatic.

Thanks for the entertaining reading PJ S.

Nothing like a celebration turning into a macho fest. And you know if somebody would have just ran down a bunch of them while they jumped on their car(s) (even though they still would have been violated) that somebody would have jumped on the bandwagon of the car driver being in the wrong.

A bunch of black people beat a Hispanic man to death and nary a peep about race.
Imagine if this had been white people beating a black guy to death...

I guess we were just waiting for you to show up and bring race into it.

    I'm the race guy? That's cool. I mean, I didn't know. But that's cool.

Hey ... People are selectively eager to use the "r" word. That was my point. Deny if you will.

You're right. For an example, look at the top of this page. ;)

Smile once and a while, man. Before the atheist government does, something or other. I'm not even sure anymore.

What's your problem? I am usually in a decent mood. Stop trying to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Because its working ... You're riding my figurative ass today. Giddy up!

I am? Sorry, I don't always see who I quote until afterwards. Looking back, it's only been this thread, and that remark about pissing in water. Didn't mean to get ya goin'.

Still, you have to expect something in return when you rail against inbred liberals and implied reverse racism.

Its a stimulus-reponse relation. I only rail when I get a metaphorical slap in the face that sparks the reaction. On a whim I decide to check in here after a hiatus and the first thing I have to read is the pot calling the kettle black (referring to that other thread). Damn.

And the race thing was worth a mention. Sure, maybe mob mentality had everything to do with it and race had nothing. Just like maybe race has something to do with certain police shootings but just maybe not all of them. But the question only gets asked part of the time, typically. Food for thought. Obviously it made you defensive, suggesting the question is worth pursuing. Why get defensive?

I see this use of race from both sides. The thing is, your race doesn't determine how you choose to act. So when people are defending a race, I can understand that. But when people are grouping attributes to an entire race...I see a huge fucking problem.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

I didn't mean to "get defensive." Both the race comment and the gene pool comment seemed ironic to me, so I commented.

And I'll have you know, I don't appreciate that "pot calling the kettle black" remark, pal.. Why they gotta be black, huh?

Damn that implicit bias inculcated by a hate-filled capitalist society!

In all seriousness, though, what was ironic about the race comment, exactly?

To me? Race wasn't really brought into it until someone who doesn't like race brought into things brought it in, if that makes sense. I know what you were saying. I just felt like making a joke.

It only took four pages to change the subject from the death of a passenger whom happened to be in the wrong car as it kita achild in front of the wrong car on a bad day.. too racism capitalism and aetheism.. He he This moving train room sure gets to rolling quick.. good thing all I roll these days is joints instead of my fellow humans.. although I must admit that the original story irked me quite a bit..just goes to show what happens when ya quit caring who ya fuck and start breeding for stupidity's sake.. ohwell and every one of those killers is living proof of that satement. :-)

"Breeding for stupidities sake"? I've never heard of such a thing.
