    When he tells the story of his wife's death, he claims the other driver was drunk. He wasn't. Not at all. Why make that up? To make the story more tragic?

    How would you feel if you killed someone in an accident, and the husband went around telling the world you were drunk?

    Anyway ... I guess it's not a big deal, except it makes me doubt a lot of shit coming out of Biden's mouth. It's almost as if he's pathological.

    I agree, especially with the common joe part. she also looks rather nervous, at least in her voice. doesn't sound consistently firm. was she just coached up for tonight?

    I do like how Biden is speaking though, for the most part. but he did avoid a couple of questions which seems pretty normal.

    btw, Gwen Ifill, who many people were raises questions as to how fair she would be, has done a very good job tonight.

    is anyone watching on CNN? what do you think about the "analyst scorecards" on the sides of the screen?

    Biden is lying about Obama and Ahmadinjad. He said in two different Democratic debates he would sit down with him without preconditions on a presidential level. Biden should know. He was there.

    I think he cut his sentence short before making the "preconditions" semantic dodge and moved on to the next point. He has to know that Obama has said that in the past.
