VP Debate

So if anyone remembers the democratic debates, Biden had the best answers per minute of time given of any of the democrats. Very straight forward, and I'd say a very blue collar connection. I expect he will do a great job.

Palin will have to have substance, and she needs to answer the question that's asked. She hasn't done a great job doing this, showing she comprehends the question and it's subject. If she just attacks only, and doesn't give her views, I don't think anything positive will come out of the debate for her and McCain. Either she is what everyone is saying, and not competent enough to be running for VP, or she is, and they've made the mistake of hiding her.

I'm really curious to see how this plays out.

If I opened it now would you not understand?
  • Oh man,
she is already doing that "nervous sigh" thing that people do when they are horribly uncomfortable.

I should know, i was the sweaty handed public speaker in highschool.
    HATED it.

    This was the first question.
Thinking this could get ugly fast.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?
  • "Darn right it was the predator lenders."

    Pfft.
    I almost did a spit-take in laughter.

Biden's doing a good job explaining his defense to her attacks on taxes and healthcare.

She is embarrasingly horrible. She's trying that hockey mom... every american approach. She seems very scripted and planned out.

    Goodbye barracuda...we hardly knew you!

That "everyman, hockey mom" approach is actually what makes her appealing to many Americans.

    She's doing fine.

Mostly, this debate is just boring as shit. Biden is such a gas bag, and I'm pretty sure he's making up every other fact coming out of his mouth.

  • I hate how she just throws random talking point phrases together when she is flustered. Half of the time they are not even sentences.

She never answers the freakin questions...unfortunately good ole USA won't be able to tell...and since she didn't slober all over herself she'll come out rosey.

Back in 2000, most Americans wanted to have a beer with Bush rather than Gore....how'd that work out?

Your right though, people vote based on shit that wont impact any lives
  • "clearly man made" my dick, you fuckhole.

"We know what the cause is. The cause is manmade."
That's not a cause you dipshit. That's bad grammar.

What about the clear correlations between temperature and solar activity?

You will NEVER hear me deny the massive negative impacts man has on his environment.
But the relationship between the global temperature and mans activities is VERY SPECULATIVE.

Eh. You're biased. Nobody's "winning" this snoozefest.

It's been half an hour of: "John McCain voted for this." "No, he didn't, but Barack Obama voted for this." "No, he didn't, but John McCain did vote for that."

    He said, she said.

I need a fact-checker to follow this damn thing.

Given Biden's track record of pulling shit out of his ass .... I don't trust him to be truthful.

  • Building a pipeline? It hasn't even been finalized yet.

Palin- "Umm...I'm not going to answer the question the way the Senator and the Moderator would like."

    Ballsy.
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

When you've been in public life as long as him, you'll have some slip ups. All around I think he's a decent guy. He's known not to hangout with Washington elite's at their wine and cheese parties, that probably turn into orgies :D
