T-D-L were those Canadian geese heading home? Is spring really coming? Great shots of the eagle.

Buffalo, those are great shots of the clouds and the breakwater.

Thanks to melodius and Justam as well. I am really enjoying looking at and sharing these photos, it makes me feel not so alone. Thanks!

They are Canada Geese. But they never leave anymore. Photo was taken today.

Too much food and warm streets to keep them occupied all year long. They have become a major problem here and in many of the big cities in the western parts of the US

Yes they are the biggest pains in the ass. When we go for walks your forever walking in their shit and the dog is constantly eating it. I couldn't believe it when I saw them in New Zealand - suckers.

I remember a few years ago when, I think it was upstate New York, wanted to cull them. But a bunch of people got all up in arms talking about how they were the national symbol of their neighbours to the north - well, actually our national symbol is the beaver.

oops. Didn't read the captions - just got home from the pub. That was a hawk, not an eagle, and of course you said they were Cdn geese. My bad!

I know what you mean. It's was really sunny here is Sydney today and I was in shock. I hate the weather we've been getting lately.

they are some of the coolest photos I've seen. If I am not mistaken the were taken in Alberta in 2005.
