    ..tried enlarging the last cloud a bit. just curious does anyone know here what those little dots inside/outside this cloud are? birds? pollution? i haven't a clue...~

    Looks like lost data on your camera. Sometimes it can last a long time. May be a programing error in your camera too.

    here is a live cam from Kilauea with the same problem

    http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/cam3/

    look to the center just to the right of the volcanic plum and right at the top of the caldara. They mention this on their web site as a problem of lost data/ programming problem like yours, mayby?

    thats my best guess.


    BTW the photo is way cool and in no way are the dots some group of sorts of UFOs spying on you ;)

    I like to capture what too many people miss by moving straight ahead on auto-pilot. Unfortunately, they don't realize or take the time to appreciate the beauty that lies above our heads.

    Panorama shot I did with my phone cam...Not to bad for the first attempt, but could be better. the shadows are a bit messed up, it's tricky with the light...here goes :)

    I'm trying to figure it out, but wow, that's a pretty cool description :)

    this cloud picture sorta had like a swirling effect looking through the lens also there WAS a small green dot above it (the darken part) and another small green dot that showed up at the bottom (stars perhaps?) but they aren't showing up now.. when i downloaded it to photobucket. probably needed to be enlarged...~
