this afternoon i was just crossing the street as i was approaching the dr.s office when all of these bubbles came drifting up the street from somewhere up high. so even though i was running late i stopped to check out the rooftops and upper-story windows, then i looked all around everywhere but i could never figure out where they were coming from. so i ran into the building and told the nurse to come check it out and she did. so we were out there enjoying them and less than a minute later they disappeared. then as we were walking back in she said to me "i've worked in this building for 14 years and i've never seen anything like that before....they must've known that you were arriving"

of course plans can fall through. nothing in life is for certain, but one still has to give it a shot. what i originally meant was along the lines of 'you can't expect that 'someday' will just happen, you have to take the steps or else 'someday' never arrives'
and we all do it to various degrees or another, how many times has anyone (myself included) said "i'm gonna _____ _____ someday" often it becomes just another way of brushing things off
