it sounds rather that you're talking more about illusions and that's okay...i was talking about delusions where a people lose their grip on any sense of reality

I can be sure without even meeting you, that a good, healthy delusion can be much better for you than a LOT of what you would perceive as reality.

For instance, you're notion of a healthy meal is more than likely far, far, far from healthy.
Won't you come see me, Queen Jane....

    Leaving the pillow alone tonight
And I can see for miles
Speak father with all your might
    Drive in one last nail
I’d walk right into your hands
From the end of the earth
    I’d make one final stand
If you could see what I’m worth

yes most people will look at a meal and convince themselves into thinking "well it looks good, smells good and taste good, it must be good."
then a couple of years later reality hits them in a form of a heart attack, stoke, or whatever the case may be, because of the belief they held that the meals they had been eating were good and healthy.

cause i for one am well aware of what a healthy meal is and that convincing oneself into thinking that something is good when it is actually bad for them does a great deal of harm....

so wanna try again for an example of a good, healthy delusion?

in my perception of reality there's so much that is truely wonderful, fantastic, joyous, beautiful or fun. all of what's found in reality is not bad or unpleasant, not at all :)

and my SBB got wet and now smells like a dead dog

i'm gonna split and go see Trampled Under Foot

    goddamn dog
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

woke up from a dream where i gave eddie vedder a poem i wrote last year and he turned it into a song. he thanked me on stage and the band kicked into a 'Off He Goes' type of a groove. this was in hartford. and it kicked ass and saved the show from everyone thinking it would suck.
I love to turn you on
