Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
I never thought it would happen, but when it did I knew it was inevitable. That never changed how awful it felt. I'd never seen anything like it before. I took to the streets, Outrage flowing through me like my blood. It's time we changed. And as the applause died down, the prime minister knew that nothing would ever change umless there was an uprising and that would never happen so his only task was to make people vote. He still didn't understand even whan it stared him in the face. The same way it stared me in the past and it showed me. I believed and it became. I acknowledged and it knew. I worshiped and it grew. I became it and it became me. Now as i sped towards the porime minister's face I only knew what I had told it and so only one moral raged through me. Chenge is coming and I am the change.
And no, it doesn't make me feel any less.
Your self-succumbed regrets,
Can eat themselves whole of their glory.
And yeah, if they're all doing their best,
They'll find my life means even less.
Because there's no more time for your stories.
Oh, grandpa, don't you, want me to be like you, oh, in your time?
Because the rivers have all dried up and your skull's covered in grime.
And wouldn't you want me to look you in your hollow holes for eyes
And tell you not to cry?
Just take a look at where we've been
And everywhere we've conquered
But it seems, you've called me over.
And no, it doesn't make me feel any less.
Your self-succumbed regrets,
Can eat themselves whole of their glory.
And yeah, if they're all doing their best,
They'll find my life means even less.

bob dylan. wasnt expecting to see this one. with a little thought not surprising at all. but still... as i said not expecting to see this name. fits in with where i am at the moment and that made me smile. <<<< see.
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
1pm - 9pm no power in town.
those are some screwed up hours that the utility company has elected to choose for the shutting down of the town's power. great, grand, fantastic, and spectacular bullshit.
people pulse through the streets,
searching for some shade
in this heavy heat,
but underneath the old and mighty oak
people gather gradually
to rest and talk and sit,
some sing songs
others stay still
or dance gracefully
the crowd,
embraced in the shadow of the tree,
smiles gratefully

or dance gracefully
the crowd,
embraced in the shadow of the tree,
smiles gratefully
to tear up worlds
to make them crumble
into the tears they have been built upon
pleading irony
rebuilding yet another land
of the salty drops that fall into nothing
or something like that... I don't know if you guys are getting this
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace

she forgot to tell him she loved him. but he knows that, right? surely he does. she always has. he feels that. or maybe tis convenient that he chooses to forget that. or pretends that it doesnt matter. her love for him has never been in doubt. and that she definitely knows. he knows too.

hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
Lying on the couch she dreams
unaware of the surrounding life
mind overflowing
dreams that are as real as reality itself
but only for a moment
lasts her beautiful moment
only in sleep has she some peace
only dreams bring her joy
and dreams disappear
happiness isnt a constant state of being
it comes and it goes
you just have to let go
get what you can
hope for the best
dreams are full of possibilities
other dimensions of being
realities beyond our life while awake
Won't let the light escape from me.
Won't let the darkness swallow me.
i can't articulate the loss i'm feeling. but i know that what i said had to be said. and what im doing had to be done. and what will be is no longer up to me. but i will be there to take it when it comes. whichever way it falls.

You make me happy
When skies are grey

It feels nice to kid yourself for a while, doesn't it?
It sure does.
But coming down from that really sucks.
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

When I heard it I fled,
When I felt it I screamed
When I smelt it I cried,
But when I tasted it I finally understood,
And ran.

so slowly
colors change in my soul
feelings that i had known
come back
once again
i forgot
how much i missed this
as happiness goes away
a dark wound aches in my soul
always there
holding on to this moment tightly
not wanting the darkness to take over
again
hold my hand
run away with me
from all of this that we know
Won't let the darkness swallow me.
