Does anyone think the way they announce shows is really straining the fanbase? I mean if you live in the Northeast you could maybe have used your 10Club membership to go to a dozen shows since 2006. I have been in the club twelve years and have been able to use mine three times. They never schedule anything near the South and when they do it is in out of the way places where it is expensive to go see them. The way they do it makes you hope that they will be like every other modern rock band and tour everywhere, announce other legs, more dates, etc. but then they do not and you are left with having to go fly someplace and spend money on a hotel and all the other costs. It really is getting to be difficult to follow them--especially since live shows are the main reason I like them at this point. What do yall think?

I think this has been a very irritating issue since the 2006 tour and I've made that statement several times. Before 2006, we got all dates, all legs at once. But they seem to know that people are going to panic and travel to shows out of fear of getting left out and they take advantage of us.
I dont know
Its rare for anyone from the 10C to step up and debunk a rumor.
and there have been other instances where people waitied for more shows only to be VERY dissapointed.
I wouldnt count on it, but Id love to be wrong.
Well, the announcement's less than a week away, so I'm just going to quit thinking about it until then. Plus I have plenty of upcoming shows within driving distance in the next few months anyway. I'm expending energy I should be saving for Radiohead in a month (!!)
