The story featured was about a get together for another missing person who was last seen a bit over a year ago.
Apparently this Mexico thing is on Monday's 11pm news.

I was kinda thinking about this a about a week or two ago. They said the one exit was too dangerous to get out of. How bad could it have been? If he was that drunk he probably wouldn't have cared that it wasn't an actual exit, right? I'm guessing that's how he got out without being seen.

That people go missing and are never found to me is proof that there is no God. For parents to have a child disappear and leave them wondering for the rest of their lives what happened is the worst fate I can imagine. Same goes for loved ones, friends, spouses and siblings. The universe is a cold place.
Randy (Brian's dad) died today in 2008 when a branch fell on him. I've always assumed he was immediately killed. I suppose the possibility is there of it being slow and agonizing, but I'd like to think it was instant. If anyone believes in any sort of an afterlife, then I'm sure they can find comfort in knowing he knows what happened to Brian.
The weird thing is that there continue to be possible sightings out of Mexico and Italy and probably other places. They all get investigated, but nothing ever turns up.
There's a few groups on Facebook with some seeming to possibly be more about conspiracies and whatnot. The one below is run by Lori, who runs his website at www.FindBrianShaffer.com

I watched it last night. He did look a lot like Brian. Sucks that it wasn't him.
Still, hold out HOPE that he's find.
When I clicked that video, an advertisement played before the video. It was from "The James" ... an Ohio State hospital.. I couldn't shake the jitters off of me when I saw one doctor in the ad who strikingly resembled Brian. Even though it's one angle ... it was eye popping to me. I had to re-open the link several times to get the same ad to pop up so I could capture this clip. So if you click on the video link and the same ad doesn't play for you, then keep trying to re-click the link and eventually that ad will play. I posted my video to YouTube.
I looked through all the male doctors on the hospitals website and couldn't find the lookalike.
Been aware of this story since his disappearance. I do not believe he took off, I could be wrong, but I just don't believe that. Just breaks your heart that some people are never found, whether it be alive or the discovery of their remains. That to me is heartbreaking.

Personally, I have zero doubt that Brian left the building. It was mentioned on the show that the nearby private dumpsters were emptied on Monday and the contents hauled to Kentucky or Tennessee (I forget which.) If someone knew they were emptied on Monday...bad news there.
It's a shame the person who posted from the library will never be found. Hypothetically, what if Brian told someone to post from Columbus?
