Some support from east of the East Coast... PJ played in my small country several times, so why shouldn't they play in your large state. Hope to see this happen.

I haven't taken the time to read this whole thread so I don't if this has been suggested earlier, but I propose a Pearl Jam Alaskan Cruise! That would be killer and we could sail right out of Seattle! I did this cruise on Norwegian about 3 years ago and it was incredible. Without a doubt, it was a Top 5 vacation! The only thing that could have made it better would have been seeing Pearl Jam play the auditorium instead of the normal Vegas-inspired entertainment.
I don't know......thinking in a couple years..the Repubs will be lookin fer some life....and needing the "righteous folk" she may again be slated as VP nomination...then PJ can visit....and we could all make fun of her...in her state...wouldn't that be grand.
Play PJ...need an excuse to revisit that great land.

I firmly believe they will play here in AK either this year or the next! So put that in your pipe and smoke it!

It's really not that "fucking" cold here (Alaska)! It has been a cold winter, however, hasn't been this cold for a few years. It gets in the high 70's to low 80's in south central Alaska in the summer.... It's my favorite place to be in the summer and most would agree that have been here. May through September is the warmest months and a great time for PJ to play here! :P

Q: Where are you favourite places to tour?
Mike: I love England a lot. I love to walk around Hyde Park and hang out. I like to play in Rome, Milan; weve toured all over Italy thats been interesting. Columbia River Gorge is a favourite place we play here in Seattle. We played some shows with Neil Young and we subsequently did a record called Mirrorball with him and he asked us if we would be his touring band over in Europe. It was a dream come true. We got to play a bunch of Neil Young songs with Neil Young himself and got to go to Berlin, to Jerusalem, to the Red Sea.
Jeff: Europe is certainly on our radar right now and were still trying to figure out how to sanely tour there at some point in the next 18 months. A lot of its gonna depend on how quickly we finish up our new record.
Weve only been to South America once but that was pretty phenomenal. The countries in Europe that have a real similar vibe to South America are Spain and Italy. We had a great tour of Canada in 2005 incredible. Its cool to know there are still places that we havent played. We havent played Alaska, we havent played Iceland, and we really need to get back to Finland because we played a show there in 93 with Neil Young that was not the best.

yes its colder here then in most places. but hey , FLA has hurricanes , Zona is in the F'n desert. Chicago is like living in a wind tunnel.
living up here isnt easy, but come May we get LONNNNNNNNNNNG days & the most beautiful scenery on the planet.

Maybe they'll play close to Alaska on the next tour since they are allegedly supposed to tour Canada extensively.
Where did you hear this? It'd be nice, and I'm thinking it's about time PJ played more spots than Van, TO and MTL.. Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal would be a great little Canadian tour. And you might draw more fans out in excitement if you actually spent a little time in our great country, eh guys?
