How many copies of this were pressed? 1,500? 2,000? This can't be the rarest PJ Vinyl. What about the first Christmas Single? What about Into the Wild?

the first Xmas single is ofte sold at $100 or $150. In comparison with benaroy, this is very much (benaroy is a 4 red wine discs set, in a beautiful carboard box).
There were only 2,000 copies made.
ITW vinyl: I don't know how many copies were done. But seeing the prices on ebay, I wouldn't be surprised if it became a rarity and sold at $250 or $300 in a few years.

Benaroya Hall is 2000 copies. I´m guessing Into the Wild is less rare...

Pretty sure both had a run of 2,000.

If I had to pick a long-term winner b/n ITW and Broya value-wise, I go with the latter. Four wine colored records in really nice packaging numbered beats a great solo album that is probably 30 minutes long any day.

Thanks for that.....I didn´t know ITW was 2,000 copies also....

I'm certain the first Christmas Single has a pressing of only 1,500 copies which makes is technically more rare. However considering the substance of Benaroya (4 discs with lavish packaging), it's more likely considered a better find by collectors and therefore more valuable.

This is a really great collection. Beautiful item I have one. I have lots of Jam collectables but....I don't think its necessary to keep this crap in a air tight case. I love love love my framed Bennyroya collage on my wall. Had to open it to feature it.

Its not in perfect condition and I love nothing more than the times I play the records on a nice system.

If you are a collector...are you collecting to sell later or to own for good. If its own for good don't you think you should open that ish up and play with it? I do.

I just played my Benaroya vinyl. LIKE IT SHOULD BE.

When putting it away looked at the 91 Xasm single I got for $15 at Amoeba in Hollywood back in 06. Maybe I'll put that on.

    I still can't believe I found one for $15.

What are the chances that someone just posted it to see how much they could get for it; sorta like the way someone else here asked the value of their PJ records.

I never even bought mine right away. I was so broke, I couldn't make up my mind on whether or not to buy one. A few hours later I decided I wanted my vinyl collection to remain complete so I ordered one.

I don't recall the vinyl selling out with in seconds, maybe I ordered after the system calmed down or something.

edit: i looked at my order, I ordered on Jun 21, a day after demetrious? I guess these things didn't sell out that quick.

indeed correct, the vinyl didn't sell out right away, the server initially crashed but the vinyl was available for well over 12+ hours. purchased my Benaroya Hall vinyl ~4pm the following day, about 15 minutes before the vinyl sold out,...

p.s. that's right, i used the word "vinyl" 4 times, once for each of the Benaroya Hall records :D
