Damn that is a lot of change. I have an unopened one that I would sell for that but then again it is not worth getting my 10C membership taken away.

I'm pretty sure that is not the case. I think that's only for tickets and posters.

Mine is still opened. I would of opened it right after i got it, but i was just out of university and pretty broke for the next year or so (until i relocated and found work elsewhere).

But that vinyl.. the thing was going for so much on ebay, and it became my safety line if i ever went completely broke.

I got really really broke.. and really desperate, but never to do the point I ever had to part with it. But for some reason because at the time it probably the most valuable thing i owned, I still haven't opened it....

One day I will, now that I never have to sell it (well never say never.. but I can't see going pissass broke anytime soon). But that record got me through some hard times :)
I can understand that but still.......you can open it, look at it (and see the #) and then close it again!!!!

    It is a beut!

Still one of the best values from the 10C at $45. I opened mine as soon as I got it and have played it a few different times.

I'll never sell any of my PJ stuff...

UNfortunately when your boiler dies in February (and you live in Mass), It costs over 5k to replace it, you live check to check, and you don't find out that insurance covers it till after you sell it on ebay.

Thats how you sell it...getting your family heat!!

Been trying to get one for around $350 opened with no luck... I sure miss it though!

Wow $600! The only real affordable PJ vinyl for amateur(poor) collectors like me is Ten. But I got an original pressing of quadrophenia for $10 so I must be doing something right.

(note: I am not an EBAY expert by any means...however...)

I feel like the PJ flippers on there have a system as I have been trying to collect some vinyl, posters and bootlegs for my OWN collection and have put some competitive bids in and lose only to find out that the same items have been relisted several times. The prior Benaroya Vinyl went for $405...

items get relisted when the go through an auction but don't meet the reserve. sometimes the seller tries it again. most items can be relisted, and will not be charged a second set of listing fees if they sell on the next go-round.

also, some people with multiples will use the relist option to avoid more fees on a second auction.

unless that's not what you're talking about

Thanks for the response but I meant more that I think the PJ fanatics (like people on this board including myself) that own a lot of this stuff drive the price up and don't pay when they win. I contacted an Ebayer after I saw him list the same bootleg set I was trying to get and he stated that the winning bidder didn't pay two times in a row (diff't bidders)...

ah, i see. well, 3 unpaid item strikes in a certain period of time gets you suspended from ebay, so i'm not sure it's a regular thing. people stiff me on an item about once a month on average. even people with lots of good feedback....

let's see...i've had about 150 feedbacks in the last 12 months, probably at least another 50-75 that people never left feedback for, so maybe 200-250 items in the last year? one a month works out to about 5% or so....

That´s way more than I expected....never knew there were so many dead-beat bidders out there....

Gotcha. Thanks. Now that is restraint!

Are you sure it's in there? The 10 club folks have been known to make a mistake or 2 in pick-and-pack. No offense 10 club.
