I think people expect him to be tall, then they meet him and realize he's smaller than average, so shock turns into calling him a midget. If you watched the SNLs he's taller than Emilio Estevez and Linsey Lohan who's 5'6" and has been quoted at saying he's 5'7", again, shorter than average, but hardly a midget.
Yeah, I kinda alluded to that...but I think Ed expects his fans to get more from the film than just how really really really ridiculously good looking he is.
