I know right ladies??? PHWOARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He looks like a model in this picture!!! It could be an ad for that shirt........seriously bloody handsome.
Although ladies, I'm going through a really weird stage of pregnancy, I keep waiting for the 'happy' hormones to kick in but they're not, and at the moment I'm going through a 'nobody likes me, everybody hates me' phase and I'm on the verge of tears pretty much all the time. Did anyone else get that???
So last night, I'm in bed looking at this picture, and thinking how handsome EV looks, but then I look at it closely and I notice that he's not smiling AT ALL. That he actually looks quite angry, and mad. And it made me feel like I'd done something wrong!!!! And then that completely irrational part of me is like 'Waaaaaaah! Even Eddie hates me!!' and I went off to sleep thinking poor me and I hate everyone and crying. I'M SUCH A DICKHEAD!!!
Am hoping this stage will be over soon, because that is probably the stupidest most irrational fan-moment I've ever had.
oh yeah, I sooooo had those completely irrational, tear filled, hormonal meltdowns! I actually remember them affectionately now though I'm not sure hubby would feel the same way. I'm sorry to say that, for me at least, I continued to be an emotional wreck for the entire pregnancy and for sometime after the births. Crazy emotional irrationality combined with complete loss of short term memory made me a fun person to be around for quite a few years! Don't worry though it really is all worth it... Even when they turn 13 and become crazy, emotional irrational messes themselves!
Somebody plz post a smiling Ed for our dear Elmo to focus on

Elmo, years back when I had to catch the bus to work, I sat down in front of a lady and could hear that she was sniffing and crying. I turned around to ask if she was alright, and through tears she told me that she had missed the bus before and that she was pregnant.

Post pics and all.. But I just wanted to say.. This is the MOST incredible group of people!! I HATE humans.. Some days I wish I could be a serial killer for a living... But this group, all you awesome people..make me look at myself, you make me realize that there are those worth giving to live. There's a reason to share life with one another.. I know this sounds harsh and brash.. But I've never "gotten" ( that isn't the word I'm looking for...) people. I just don't get the stupid shit people get caught up in!! I love that we can all share a need for music that makes us whole, while staring at a man that makes us roll!! Ya know,?? I leave for Wrigley after work tomorrow night!! Holy fuck girls!!! The HOUR IS

Elmo I love reading your posts! You put my exact thoughts into words so perfectly! I would hope that if I met Eddie and he looked into my eyes that he would see the love reflected back (but not in a creepy way ). The thought is scary though - what if he was all impatient or feeling "off" or something. I'd hate to be disappointed after our encounter!! What is the story with your meeting Mike? As nerve wracking as it may be it is a risk i am willing to take! Maybe I will luck out with the upcoming shows! London is just 5 days away! And I hope to hit 2 shows this fall....although it may be a challenge to find a show partner for Buffalo since it is during Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. It is only 1.5 - 2 hours from my house though! Then I am going to try to convince hubby to take a little mini vacation to check out another show. I am determined to convert him into a fan!!
What shows (if any) is everyone else going to try for??
Oh and Elmo my seats for London are not 10c; they are 300 level side stage (Mike's side) but only 3 rows back. I think they will be decent! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw thanks Lpeddle! You sweet woman. So I actually think your seats sound pretty good, depending on where 300 is!!!! Hopefully 300 is closer to the front than to the back . . . being side stage near Mike is the PERFECT possie I reckon!!! If you can't get in the front row . . . that's what I'd be aiming for . . . PERFECT. I've heard it's a pretty tiny venue so all the seats will probably be good . . . SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And can't wait to hear your post show review, please.
And in regards to meeting Mike, LP it was SO SHORT AND UNEVENTFUL but it still meant something to me! Of course!
Basically it was just near my work, outside his hotel in the summer of 2006/2007. I'd been to see two PJ concerts that week (one alone! tragic!) and obviously all my workmates knew that I utterly adored them etc etc. Then I was eating lunch in the park down around the corner from my work, and my boss at the time came down and was like 'N!!! There's men with hats out the front of the Como (hotel opposite our work), they look like roadies!!! GO!!!!!!!!!!' So I bolted up the hill and almost bashed into Mike on the corner. And because Mike just feels like he's an old friend of ALL of ours, I was like 'MIKE!!!!' And then I realised he was a total stranger and couldn't say anything meaningful at all, I think I said 'I've just been to two of your shows!' and he said 'Really? So you had a good time?' And I said 'Of course!!!!!' and started backing away. He smiled at me though in a nice way, which just touched my poor fangirl heart. Yep, it was the most INANE, non-eventful interaction ever, but I was SO STOKED to have met him . . . he was so friendly and warm. (Although I think I gave him a fright when I bolted around the corner and grabbed him!!!! Hahahaha!)
Then I went back to work and cried a few tears of happiness like a HUGE DAG, and then I went back down to the Como for another peak, and chatted to this very friendly roadie out the front. Jeff came back from skating and was unpacking the car, but DID NOT want to be bothered so I just kept talking to the roadie and some other people that were around, obviously hoping EV and MM would come back but they didn't. The roadie was hilarious. I think he was angling for a blow job or something, because he kept talking about the lengths some girls go to get backstage passes, hahahahaha AS IF BUSTER! NOT ON YOUR FUCKING LIFE! He was funny . . .
Then eventually I had to go back to work! So I never got a look at Eddie (I'm not sure I would have been able to talk to him, I just wanted to see him!!) but I met Mikey, and that was ENOUGH for me. It's funny my memory is so terrible, but of course I can remember EXACTLY what I was wearing, that I was sucking on a lollipop at the time, and what I talked to the roadie about . . .
Probably one of the most inane and non-eventful meeting pj stories EVER, SORRY LPEDDLE!!!! But there is it.
Elmo that is a great story! And it was a significant moment for you so it is so NOT an uneventful, inane story!!!! ANY encounter I could have with Eddie no matter how brief and seemingly small would mean the world to me so I totally understand!! I just hope my happy tears would come after not during!!
Oh and my seats are in section 314. Pretty much "centre ice"!
